Fucken' laugh tracks! Man ,I hate those. They try to cover up for poor writing. "Hey the door's open" hahahahahahhahahha. "Maybe we should close it" hahahahahahahahahha. Pathetic.
I see. They have redeeming characteristics, though. And who doesn't like the villain? They could be playing weak limp wristed British clichés.

Yeah, I was just thinking British Actor playing asshole charachter. But that and this scene from "The Young Ones" really turned me on to Hugh Laurie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxA0a5G6ccg"]YouTube - University Challenge - The Young Ones Although I think that Adrian Edmonson and Rik Mayall should be better known in America. Black Adder made me a fan. Most of the stuff you get of him in the US is just Mr. Bean and variations on Mr. Bean. I find Mr. Bean irritating as a festering boil. Stay Brown, Rev J
Given your nature and lack of exposure to American television shows, I wouldn't expect you to repsond any other way. Also, remember;
We're kinda in the same boat, dude. I've seen enough, though. To be honest I'm not sure what you actually think of US TV as a whole compared to UK TV as a whole. That's why I said don't pick and choose just so you can say, in a round about way: The BBC produces better TV than the US (with out any caveats).
You went onto say: ...and I did say: US TV as a whole compared to UK TV as a whole (not just the BBC)

Right...So I enjoy BBC shows about history more than I enjoy most of the crap most American networks play. So what are we discussing then? not just the BBC Don't you guys only have four channels... And anyways, BBC was what I was discussing. I have no idea what other stations you have over there.
