I hope you ralize that your initial post contradicts itself because the only was you can be truly not religious is if you have no beleif in God or higher power...

Religion:

For you see you beleif and worship in Jesus makes you religious no matter what you do...yuo just have a personal relationship with Him instead of what people tell you to beleive...

I also don't think Jesus was as anti-religion as you think...He was a devout Jew...usually depicted with the traditional Jewish beard, and this is true in other aspects of His life...His teachings are even very close to those or traditoinal Judeaism, but focus mostly on the humanity and love that others in His time may have forgotten about....

I also beleive that Jesus did follow Jeudaism, he just followed with his own torch..

i knwo this,i ahve had both in my life,religion tunred me away from god,because i couldnt be wat was expected of me.
but then i found god,who just wanted to love me and didnt try and change my personality,but excepted me for me,any changing that needed to be done after that was because i chose to,not because i was made to,like the religious people i knew.

You must also remember that there are perfectly happy gay people, happy being gay who belong to the church, im mean, look at the catholic church, there was even a gay minister (and im not talking about the child molesters either)...

Any church the makes you have to conform to what they tell you, you shouldn't be a part of it...not all churches are like that you know...

 

i admit that i do not agree with gay/lesbian relationships,but i would not preach to them that they are sinners.god dislikes the sin but not the sinner.
no sin is worse than another to god,lying,murdering etc.sin is sin,but he does not hate us for it,he still loves upon us.
if i was to tell gay people that wot they were doing was wrong,and making them very unhappy,then where is the love of god in that?i ahve a frend who has recently strted a lesbian relationship,although i dont agree with it,i can see that this makes her very happy,it would be wrong of me to break that friendhsip just because of different beliefs

churches should accept people like jesus excepts people,from prostitutes,lepars, theives,every single person from every walk of life.
any changes that need to be done are only to be descided between god and the individual,nobody else

 

the way to bring about change is to take action...instead of declaring your self anti-religion, how bout you take some action against prejudice and the unattainable dogma preached in the church...


and im not trying to be mean, i just found out my school is doing a Christmas Coffee House (like open mike, but not open to everyone, you have to audition)...we a public freakin school, somebody please tell me that is not right...please someone...

Well it is also a part of a class, and those people i think are required to do it...they still shouldn't do that at a public school...but w/e...for some reason i am getting less and les mad at this...
