If you receive a large signing bonus are you required to stay for a particular length of time? Hotwater
Aww, thanks guys! Retired Hippie--Yes! I'm glad you understand Lodog--I'll do what I can. Orison--I wish! (well, some days I do) Hotwater--For new grads tuition reimbursement is usually the draw factor; sign-on bonuses are more likely for experienced nurses or those working in under-served areas. But typically, yes, they do require you to work a certain amount of time. If I get a job with the hospital system I went to school with, then they'll repay my loans but I have to work there 24 months.
american hospitals come up here all the time looking for nurses I know someone who got hired straight out of university and her first job was to supervise the american nurses lol...10k $us bonus too after 1 year
Well done! I studied nursing for one year, then switched. It takes a very special person to become a nurse. As I always tell my aunt - what you do is amazing. You REALLY should be getting paid squillions of dollars for the work you do, please know for the future that although it doesn't always feel like it, you are so appreciated and those gammy doctors wouldn't last five mins without you there to assist. :2thumbsup:
