you can still do that in the winter and then there's a lot fewer people around to catch you doing it...

I almost caught a bad case of frostbite last year for doing that. ugh. Rather smoke indoors.

    :(:(

you do have to make sure you're properly bundled up first. i can't even feel the effects of pot if i'm uncomfortably cold.

Your ready for summer  It’s not even officially winter yet which begins on dec 21st

In the meanwhile on the local front:

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EST FRIDAY.

EXPECT UP TO AN INCH OR TWO OF SNOW AND SLEET FOLLOWED BY FREEZING RAIN. LESS THAN A HALF INCH OF ICE ACCRETION IS EXPECTED. SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF FREEZING RAIN ARE FORECAST THAT WILL MAKE TRAVEL DANGEROUS. ONLY TRAVEL IN AN EMERGENCY. IF YOU MUST TRAVEL... KEEP AN EXTRA FLASHLIGHT... FOOD... AND WATER IN YOUR VEHICLE IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY.

I know exactly what you mean, talking about Adelaide. I don't get out into the countryside in autumn because the landscape is so depressingly brown, like poo.

Still, I like those cloudy, mysterious days and the perfect weather.

Autumn in the UK was my favourite season. The colours were just stunning. I liked winter in Scotland very much. I just got out as much as I could. I spent hours wandering around in the snow, even got stuck in a small blizzard.

I know winters can get really bad in the Northern US and Canada and I would probably change my tune if I lived there.

Its just that the winters drag themselves out so damn long, even when theyre not pretty anymore.

So you dont have colourful autumns in Australia?

Only in the city. The trees lining the streets and in the parks are beautiful,. The wild forests and farmlands on the other hand are very dull after a dry period and then in winter they come back to life.

I love my new street because its lined by Jacarandas and they are all in bloom.
