lol, not as if I'd be leaving tomorrow. I've just had this huge travel itch, this was a good excuse to check out another place to visit. *sigh* I have like, no money though. Negative money, it's deeelightful
Congratulations, I'm glad if I find 300 sq. ft. for $600 per month. I didn't know there was such cheap housing. What exactly do you have to do to get an appartment anyway?
fill out an application and submitt yourself to a background check...usually pay a deposit and an application feeoften the first and last months rent are required, dependig on the place you may need refrences
here at most apartmentsyou have to make three times the rent a month, or have good credit. if you don't you need a cosigner with good credit or the ability to prepay lots of rent
yeah, but probably a couple hundred bucks in transportation, no? Agh, I hate being so broke, damn postsecondary expensiveness and shitty minimum wages mmmf.... hence the voting for the party that plans on reducing tuition fees and make loans more accessible to students, rather than the ones propsing a 1% GST tax cut (lame-o) or a $3000 credit back for third and fourth years (by the time that one's implemented, I'll have graduated, and it doesn't help with the initial problem of equal accessibility) erm.... I'll stop hijacking the lovely thread now someone give me money adn I'll go visit cool folks in the states, ok? Ok.
Ihm, if you travel to victoria, we could meet you and bring you the rest of the way, giving you time to see Psyche as well. And you'd be travelling just in Canada, so would be fairly cheap, right?
ummmm... $350 by bus with student discount, approx 25 hours long and that was teh cheapest option of stc, vs greyhound vs viarail jesus fucking christ, why is this country so damn big?
oh that just sucks But you could always save up, and then come out this direction in time for the westcoast forums gathering that's being planned for August
you know, it's only 10 hours if you're going the speed limit. and WHO goes the speed limit, besides me?
lol, wow, we should visit. maybe we could take our honeymoon there! haha.. how are the lodging prices in durango? good camping? when is the best time to go there? i really want to take road trips with him in the summer, but i don't know if it'll be financially feasible...
durango has some nice cheap lodging, we stayed here all the time to party. mainly the hotels and such. the camping/hiking/skiing/partying thing is excellent here. especially in the summer. i won't be here anymore in a couple weeks, but i still really recommend you visit. it's heaven (if you ignore the snooty people). but there's tons of students who love taking in visitors, bed & breakfast inns and stuff like that.
oh my god, i'm checking out that site.. it looks like something out of disney. that's so cool, now i really want to go visit
i'm moving to ft. collins again. i really love ft collins. the people are awesome, the housing market is ridiculously affordable, and it's a college town.
