i'm really good at noy buying things i dont need except when it comes to clothes and cars then i just fucking suck because theres like all these starving people in the world and my god damn prada bag would feed an entire village but its not like you can and like give food to that village or anything. i dont know my morals conflict with my habits it bites.
I used to buy lots of shuff all the time.. But now i cant afford to buy anything no that I have an apartment
i never have money to buy extra stuff so I make stuff and trade for the stuff I want, but I don't really shop in stores LOL so that may be why it works. I doubt I could go into target or wal-mart and trade them a home made backpack for a pair of flip flops, they wold laught at me and make me cry HAHAHA
let's just say i've spent more than $300 dollars this year.... (well, i've bought some other non-substace things.)
use your money to buy a sewing machine, beads, tassles, sequins, hemp, fabric and other crafty shit and make things. then sell or trade half the stuff you make and keep half of it. that way you get twice as much stuff and are giving/interacting. also you have extra money from selling stuf to buy more stuff. you don't need to stop being materialistic, just go about it in a way that gives back too, s'all about balance.
my freind has a sailor outfit.. i want some of funkyphresh's clothing now! damnit! but, it will help support her kids, so i will most likely get it
