    before you read this, im not a hater! just cautious!

    i understand youre just working on your dad, and hes teaching you the trade. and i respect that. buying needles in pre-autoclaved packages is 100% responsable and professional, so kudos to that. but there are a lot of other factors that come into play. red cross, and most hospitals give cross contamination classes. also they offer a blood born pathogens class. i suggest that you take them. they will also give you certificates for taking them. knowledge is power! you have the skill. but before you move on to people other than your father, make sure you know the major stuff.
