I think there is a McDonalds in the town next door... but there wasn't one anywhere near where I grew up. And my parents were very against fast food so I never ate any growing up.

so i was thnking about mcdonalds breakfast during my brief stay in the us. what america has that we dont are biscuits. sausage biscuit etc- our breakfast burgers are on english muffins. i was like holy mother of god when i had a biscuit type thing- what in gods name is this delicious scone/biscuit thing im eating?
