Oh the fuzzy huggy feely BBC is reporting about a study? I'm sure that knowing this will make the world act much less CHAV.
like yah, but at least the're not all right wing brain washing like cnn and fox. most of the time anyway. not that anyone's media doesn't have SOME bias to hide. the silly damd corporate media here in the u.s. simply and deliberately don't tell anything that would actually be remotely useful to know, just feed us infotainment like mushroom farmers. i think the beeb HAD someone in charge who insisted on telling whole honest truth, and the bushwacker's posse somehow got the GB government to force his resignation. i seem to remember hearing that on the REAL indy news several years ago, whenever it was, 2004 i think, if not earlier. still more useful as real news then fox or cnn. (although i suspect such a "study" falls pretty much into the same "infotainment" catigory) =^^= .../\...
too sick with anxiety? pfft. then you're going about it all wrong. and i said nothing about "power." to me, getting ahead is all about health, happiness, security, enjoyment of what you're doing and a little extra to help out the family and friends when they need you and to be able to go see something cool from time to time. it's all a personal thing.
I'm sure the 'bravery' test asked questions such as, "would you cheat on a test?" So that's not surprising at all. Also I'm sure it asked the students to say whether or not they cheated. So the non cheaters could be just 50% liars so that skews the whole thing. Of course theres no reliable methodology to test something that's not definite. Numbers are only very effective testing definitive things. Even in those cases you have people who don't like the outcomes whining that you can prove anything with statistics. That's going overboard though. If you have reliable things to test, and you have results published, you can observe them. The test of a good study is something that can be duplicated by someone who's never seen your methodology.
Shit I didn't cheat in high school (much, lol...I did share homework with my friend in math cuz I was terrible at it), and I'm a total chickenshit. I think this study is bullshit, too.
