Its not easy to find true friends. Sometimes we discover that people we thought we could trust made something bad for us,and it makes us feel sad. And sometimes we cant feel that we can even trust in someone.
In my opinion,we can have lots of friends, but the REAL ones, are few. But even if we have just 3 or 2 or 1 person like this, its enough if we know the friendship is true.
Maybe you didnt find this persons yet, but i'm sure you will. There are lots of bad people in this world, but i think we still can find the ones we can call brothers and i wish you good luck :)
Just try dont start to trust in someone too early or maybe you can be hurt. If something sad happens to us,it just help us to feel stronger and start again Anyway,if you need something,i'm here o/

Now, yeah, i know that it's all easier said than done but seriously though...All you have to do is simply detach yourselves from any negitive influences in your life.

Find like-minded people who share similiar views and opinions to yourself. Unless you can feel you can truly be yourself, 100% around people, without them trying to change you or you feeling that you need to change for them then those people aren't truly the kind of people you want to be around.

Remember: Sometimes good presents come in bad wrapping, and sometimes bad presents come in good wrapping. Make your own choices, and remember you are in control of your descisions, no one else is.

Yeah, I don't think there's anything wrong with you if you don't have any "true" friends.

I've always struggled with being a bit anti-social, but I've realised over time that this is mostly due to choice more than anything else. I'm starting to think that I have finally found a "true" friend, after 20 long years....although I did have a true one back in high school but we drifted apart because our interests changed etc..

But then I find myself doubting whether this person really IS a true friend.

Which brings me to my next point - do you think that what defines a "true friend" is purely subjective? Or is there a defined list of traits that qualifies a person as being real and true?

    How can one tell?

Personally my definition of a true friend is someone who I can hang out with anytime, doing anything, whose fridge I can go into to help myself to a drink and just sit back and chill. I don't want to feel any pressure to act a certain way, or force myself to be more entertaining or funny than my how I am normally. If anything happened, I would want this person to be the first one I call, whether its someone in hospital, a broken down car, or whatever.

And the reverse would also be true. The person could ask me to do any of these things and I would more than happily oblige..

    That's my definition anyway :)

I tried being myself but everyone thinks im crazy and will go on
    a killing spree or something.
