no offense to you, and i dont really know much about your personality besides whats potrayed over the net but this sounds like the type of thing you dont want to fuck up, like especially after the chick hooked u up with failing the drug test, what im tryin to say is, even if the job is shitty or whatever, dont just wake up one morning and be like "fuck i'm not going to work im gonna go get fucked up, and I hate my job so much i'm never goin back" with opportunities like this, you might as well be legit, and just lay it on the line, if u dont like the job, finish what is left of the temp position, give your 2 weeks, or discuss the situation with a manager, then go back to the chick at the agency and tell her how it is, and hopefully get somthing better, it will show a bit of consistancy and determination to the chick, and u might end up landing a primo full time job. i'm not really tryin to sound like my typical asshole self, just giving u a heads up on somthing u probably already have in the back of your mind
He sounds grateful to have the job. He knows what he's got. Congrats on the job, enjoy your new spending money.
Yeah I know what you're saying. I'm not gonna fuck it up. I need this job. I don't even know if I'm gonna be in Georgia long enough to get another job, because the whole reason I needed a job so bad is because I'm trying to move to Myrtle Beach soon, and I just need about $1000-1500 saved up to do so, so I'll be straight in a month or so. I just gotta get my medical bills paid off too. Thanks for the advice. Yeah I'm definitely grateful as fuck. Nobody's been willing to give me a chance since I got my cast off, which was close to a month ago. And thanks for the congrats.
hahha top notch personell! that is seriously so funny.. its like a sign that you'll have good luck w/ that job! thats sick as hell too about that lady hookin you up w/ that job. i wish all jobs were that easy to get!! i bet you were like "aww fuck" when she said you had to take a drug test! haha i would have been shittin! but have fun tonight w/ that ounce! wish i was smokin that much tonight!
Thanks. I wasn't really all that nervous about the test. I just figured I'd fail and not get the job, because that's just how my luck usually is and it barely phases me anymore when things go wrong. It turns out I MIGHT not be going to my weedman's house tonight, afterall. He called and said that he was being fucked around by his weedman in getting his weekly pound, but he said depending on what time he leaves his house to go get it, he's gonna bring me a couple of grams to tide me over until tomorrow, when he will definitely be ready to smoke the afformentioned OZ, so it's gravy:spliff:
Well, I went to sleep at about 8:00 this morning, then after I had slept for about 30 minutes, the phone rang. It was "Top Notch Personnel" telling me that they needed me to go to orientation today, instead of monday, so after only 30 minutes of sleep, I had to drive about 50 miles to the place I'll be workin at. I found out that I'm gonna be working 4pm-2am for the first week or so for training, then after the training period, I'll start working 6pm-6am at least 4 days a week, but usually 5 days a week and sometimes 7 days a week. So I'll be workin up to 72 hours per week. hahaha that's fuckin insane. Ima be tired as shit, but you do what you gotta do, I guess. At least I'll have plenty of money for weed, as if I'll have time to smoke it, and I'll be able to get my medical bills paid off and get a car pretty soon. I'm just really relieved to finally have a job.
Damn you got pretty lucky mayne. I got a job at a staffing agency and the job they gave me was a 9 hour shift starting at 4 in the morning and sometimes ending at 3:30 in the afternoon. I moved 50 pound boxes off of trucks onto pallets all day. You can bet the first week was hell. Also I only got paid 8.50. Best of luck to ya.
Yeah jobs like that are rough. All that hard work for such little pay but, like I said, you do what you gotta do, right? The first job I got through a staffing agency, about 6 years ago, was at Mayfield Dairy. I worked 12 hour shifts and had to load about 6-7 18-wheelers completely full with nothing but milk. The milk was stacked in crates, 4 gallons per crate, 6 crates high, and I had to load the trucks BY MYSELF and the crates were coming at me on a conveyer belt, so I had to work at someone else's pace. I couldn't take my time and do it slowly at the pace I would have liked. haha but at least it was 34 degrees in there, so I didn't get too hot doing it, but I was still sweating my nuts off.
Yeah it will definitely be worth it, especially considering I am only working there long enough to be able to afford to move to Myrtle Beach, which shouldn't take more than two months. I am gonna be tired as fuck though.....and probably pretty sore too, but that's what weed is for:spliff:
as long as you smoke some weed throughout the next couple weeks im sure youll be fine and it sounds like if your workin these hours youll be in mertyl beach in 2 weeks
Yeah I'm thinkin I'll be there in a month or so. I still got my medical bills to think about, and they're over $1500.
ya it would be around 5 weeks then which isnt much in 5 weeks i should have a job and be out of school for more than a year!!
