Vig - she had her hand up by her mouth when I delivered her head. Just the head is supposed to come out at first, she came out with fist in mouth. It's called a nuchal hand And most births throw off a baby's alignment (and Mama's) regardless of how they present (nuchal hand or not) but a nuchal hand almost guarantees things are out of alignment for her. The fact that she nurses just fine on one side (while laying on one side) and has difficulty on the other is also a sign she needs an adjustment/alignment Fickle - thanks. My oldest has watched both of her younger siblings born at home in the water.
