I flew a plane today.

I got some very silly stuff recorded... I truly do not take myself seriously, so I improvise really silly songs and post them on myspace mostly for my friends in Arkansas to get a good laugh out of them.

more people need to take themselves less seriously...it would make life so much better....especially lots of the kids at my school, way to serious for me and some of them live the life of "i can do/speak no wrong"

 

Uhhum... people just need to realise that they are no better than any other being on this planet. I might be taking this a little too far by believing that I'm not even better than an ant or do not deserve more than one or more than any other being... but humans need to at least understand that they are not better than any other human...

 

yea, i'm not a better human than anyone else...i may have better abilities such as i'm better suited to play a sport than someone else, but that doens't make me a better human or make my life better than anyone elses

Uhhum... well said, people have different abilities at which some of them are more skilled than others, but that does not make them superior to others in any form.

Haha, cheers I played them for my friend today... he laughed and then said that I should check myself into a mental institution He didn't get the Lolita reference in Starfish though, which is half of the fun of the song ( and kind of makes the meaning obvious... fucking 8 year olds in the ass )

yeah cessnas are really fun to fly in.. but i usually just jump out of them.. so im not too familiar with the landing part of the aircraft..

we haven't performed it in over a year, we've eluded to doing it again, but we need all the people who originally did it to be together, and right now, its kinda hard with 1 being suspended from school

 

What did he do to get suspended?

Well... I guess it wouldn't be too hard to get suspended now that I think about it... would flippin off a drill sergeant do the job?

 

he got his 2nd VAP, violation of alcohol policy - pretty much an automatic suspension

flip off your drill you'll probably get a few marching tours - just walk back and forth in a straight line for a few hours.

You get suspended for 2 alcohol violations? Man... is it the same way in the actual military itself? That would be too good to be true.

yea, we have a "dry" campus...even people of age can get VAP'd if you are drinking on campus or are way to intoxicated from the bar...

i haven't done any marching tours - when you know how the system works, you find ways around it haha

i dont' know how its in the military, but i doubt its anything like what we have at school

Back in Arkansas we also had a dry campus because we were in a dry county.

Didn't stop us, no sir... I think it provoked more people to drink than stopped.

 

oh yea, it did drive people to drink...theres nothing to do in the middle of Vt

i believe the fact that it is a dry campus makes it even more dangerous, becuase people have to keep it a secret...shit, last year we had freshman go up in the mountain to drink during the winter

 

Mountain and winter... just for booze... man. Are they that strict? Do they randomly search rooms or something?

 

we have room inspections and such...believe me, we have some really stupid people that are upperclassman. my friends would tell people that they would be looking for alcohol in the fridge during inspection time - this is like a week before inspection that they are told that the room will be searched for alcohol...you know what happens...they would still have alcohol in the room during inspection and my friends had no choice but to tell admin

there can be random searches, but usually that happens when there are complaints or verifiable suspicions
