I fucking love Jim Morrison.

Well ok..I can dig that..I still don't see how he takes over any girl..awesome mojo or not with those damn TEETH....I'm sure YOU could though..just hold off on the pencils up the nose..k? lol

 

The Doors are not my favorite band, but they are absoulutely grand. Whether Jim was a master poet is debateable... sometimes I hear one of his lyrics and get completely lost in it, thinking, "My god that's fucking amazing". Yet there are those few occasions when I hear one of his lyrics and think, "my that's really not that great".


He was however, a great singer. His voice is gorgeous.

And I kinda like him with a beard. Scary-looking, yet... fitting... I wouldn't go so far as to say he was the sexiest person to ever live, but he was pretty.

 

Yeah... I think the same thing. I've never been obsssed with them... I think Neil Young is prettier... but most people think I'm insane anyway. Oh well... sucks to be them.

and they still are... I've yet to ever meet neil, but stephen is the shit!


Neil's hair kicks ass. My hair is the epitome of suckyness compared to his. I have this same picture autographed by him.

 

i do love the Doors, but no one gives them credit, it all goes to Jim and people act like hes a fucking god or something. Im sorry, he had a great voice and wrote some really great lyrics, but lets look at the other 3/4 of the band.

He does have some of the most childish lyrics I've ever heard, but then I think to myself "there's still a chance!"

They had their chance; after Jim died the Doors went on, without Jim the were shit. Also, it was Ray Manzarek's idea to bring in that ex-Cult steroid popper, which is why I hate Ray forever. His keyboards were great, but that is it. I hope he dies. Not really.
Robby Krieger is also one of my favorite guitarists of all time, but I consider Jim as a seperate musician from the Doors. Jim is my favorite musician, The Doors are my favorite band.
