What's the difference? Last night was the first time I had a real laugh where I actually had a big grin and I hurt one side of my jaw really badly by straining it by pulling so hard on the elastics that keep my mouth shut. Kind of sucks since I finally got to stop using painkillers, but now I just popped 4 ibuprofen.
I've been tanking up on Gerber prunes and pears and it didn't help much. I think it's that I finally stopped with the hydrocodone. Never again!
Yeah things have gotten a lot easier now. Numbness and swelling has gone down a lot. It feels so awesome to be able to eat real food now. I still have to stick to soft things cause I still can't chew, but I can still eat eggs, yogurts, ground meat, soups, rices, noodles, and whatnot. They say I won't be able to chew until week six tho
Had to bump this again because what happened was really crazy. So, a while ago when I smoked weed I freaked out because I felt like I could feel a nerve running thru my upper lip and I hadn't felt it until that night I smoked. I thought I maybe fucked something up, or idk, it just couldn't be good. (I have/had no feelings in my lips) Over the past few days feeling has increased dramatically in that area and I basically have all feeling back just in that one spot! It's like the weed somehow boosted the healing for those nerves or something. I don't really know what happened here, but I find it very odd nevertheless.
arty: i remember moving from all liquids to solids....goooooooood stuff glad you seem to be healing properly. I was infected for 3 months after my surgery due to preveiously unknown metal allergy! that's crazy. after my surgery i was toking joints through my nose...trying to keep the smoke out of my mouth. didn't really work because smoke still came out of my mouth BUT that's crazy...you still have time for nerve feeling to come back. enjoy your new diet
^^^are you serious that you smoked joints through your nose regularly? did that not burn like crazy?!
