Well there's a difference from making a thread in the members photo section to show everyone what you look or even if its a thread of substance at all. Like photos of you somewhere you traveled on vacation, or here's my photo post your own for whatever reason. But yours was just a 'I got a face lift' "not really' which translates into "Look at me, I need attention", photos taken by yourself probably after you spent an hour or more getting ready.

What's the point on even expressing this? I don't know, what the point on being a self absorbed bitch?

some are just right at confident and some take it overboard. I wouldnt take the time to snap 5 photos and put it on a thread just to get a couple compliments and the rest to talk about how conceited I am (which I really would be)

its not worth it. People who actually dont tell people to notice how pretty they are, and let it shine through the picture, are the prettiest ones

At this point, a situation has been created where the only thing to do is sit back and watch the haters come out of the woodworks. In many ways, this thread reveals more about them than it does me. Im comfortable with who I am and what I do. To make such strong judgments of character and be so persistent and “annoyed” about silly photos is just beyond me. Maybe their lives arent that interesting? I dont know...its rather strange. One would think there are more important things to be concerned with

nope, as i said, im comfortable with myself and my validation starts with me. i just dont quite understand the people who go out of their way to criticize someone for posting harmless photos. to let something that has nothing to do with you bother you is so unfortunate. no one is forcing anyone here to repeatedly come back to this thread. if you have a problem with the thread, then simply dont continue to click on it
