    I don't mind it but also because it is relatively easy to ignore here in the netherlands. I'm sure i could relate better to the original post if I would be confronted to the same extent. The original holiday and the idea behind it are interesting and great to make an atmospheric celebration or holiday out of. But yeah most if not all fun holidays are getting raped by commercialisation.

    and the real history of thanksgiving, is on a par with that of columbus day.
    remember that little speach by wednesday in adams family values?
    it wasn't completely accurate, but it wasn't bullshit either.
    the real story was worse.
