I like the word marijuana pretty well, but actually, I have often lamented in the past the fact that I hate several of the most common terms for marijuana. For instance, the word "pot" makes me think of dirt and burning out. I'm not a fan. I also hate calling it "weed" for obvious reasons. Who wants to smoke "weed" when you can smoke bud, herb, grass, etc? My favorite terms these days are, I suppose, "trees" and "bud." Both have positive connotations in my mind, and most people know what you're talking about (even though most people know what i mean, I always get made fun of for calling it "grass")
It's all situational with me. In some situations, different names sound better in different scenarios. It's all in how you use the word, not the word itself.
For the most part the only time I use the word marijuana is to relate to people who dont know what the fuck they are talking about.
i hate it when people call mj a drug, its cuz drug is so dragged out now it used to make me feel like a pathetic junkie, i know everything that alters reality is considered it, but theyre not like omg u drink coffee now? drugs are bad man. smoking weed is cool, and indeed does make you cool... with other weed smokers that is.
Haha speaking of reefer/reffer i watched some cop show on TV today. It had some english cop stopping this guy for walking down the street with a joint on. Here is the conversaton they had. Cop: you know thats taking the piss smoking a reefer in the street? guy: no? Cop: yes its a controlled substance guy: really? i am not playing dumb i didnt know (he was from south africa) He searched him and stuff and found nothing on him guy: can i smoke the rest of my reefer? Cop: no, but generally we turn a blind eye to it if its just a bit of personal guy: so if i have some at home i can smoke it? Cop: throw that in the drain but if you've got anymore at home smoke it there I love this country sometimes xD
