i cant imagine ever walking up to any drug dealer and asking for less than an eighth of shrooms, even if they were "blow your mind super shrooms, take a cap and trip nut". and if i did, im not so sure i would ever show my face to that guy again, out of embarrassment

i would definately do it. thats a pretty small dose but thats just me. whenever i've done half an eighth i have fun but i'm always wishing i took more.
i think it could make you forget about your cold but idk what your symptoms are like.

Lol that's probably in line with what they used to say when someone suggested that the Earth revolved around the Sun.
But whatever makes you feel better about your own mind's reaction to a neurotransmitter in a state of crisis. They are SNS stimulants, fight or flight, I wouldn't recommend blocking out something just because it doesn't sit well. Of course there are the kinds of trips where you are so far gone that you cant remember your own name, in which case a reminder that it will wear off eventually can be a safety rope. But this is your head, remember that, the mushrooms dont contain your experience they serve as a key to unlock it.

Absolutley. Lying down by candlelight and directing your thought towards accepting pain, observing it indifferently as it inflicts you, and letting it pass is the way I've always dealt with rough trips.

Also, for anyone reading this who hasen't taken them before, a lot of your experience can be affected by your health, so it's good to have eaten plenty of food the day before, fasting the day of a mushroom trip after eating properly the day before is recommended, and possibly going for a walk during the comeup to make sure your circulation is normal. I always hate it when Im half way into a trip and my arms and legs get pins and needles from the stimulation, smoking and my bodie's generaly poor circulation. Also, you can suddenly go into anxiety attacks as a reaction to mushrooms without having any actual problems or nervousness, which can be very uncomfortable. I went into terrible seizure's once on just an 1/8 and they just happened out of nowhere.

Does your friend have a condition which makes you think this might happen? Because if not, it's pretty rare. I've tripped with a kid who had epilepsy on several different psychedelics and he never had a problem with it.
They can lower the seizure threshold in anyone, but so can a video game so it's nothing to worry about.
If a seizure occurs and you are certain there is no other drugs involved or a medical condition, dont panick, give the friend a minute to snap out of it. It can be difficult to react to such a situation when you are so confused yourself, but I've never heard of anyone having any serious problems manifest because of a mild seizure episode caused by psychedelics unless the person was allergic to them, which you would most likely become aware of very quickly. It's most likely due to stress from the overwhelming experience, and from trauma. It's hard to remain calm when God pulls you aside for a moment and shows you how reality happened

yesterday my friend was telling me about his first shroom trip. he got lost in the woods and hid in a ditch for 2 hours before he was found by his other friends and then he talked to a microwave for 30 minutes and then pased out

    Yea that will happen lol.
I've never been lost in the woods during a trip though. Lost in sweaters, eyes, kitchen tiles, etc yea but no forest.
I once read the Bhagavad Gita during a trip on both acid and mushrooms, and it was intense, every sentence I read became a movie on the pages while the words were bubbling and floating all over the place. Then I felt like a jaguar/andriod ancient/futuristic killing machine and crawled up the stairs into the bathroom and had a cold shower while I watched reverse time lapse vision of the grime on the walls go back to being clean, then forward to being dirty in the present.
And actually that's not even the weirdest moments, I dont know if the weirdest could be put into words lol

    thank you, thank you :D
I also witnessed the end of the universe out of my bedroom window (this was in s. philly, so that might have actually happened, mind you) and watched My Gym Partner Is A Monkey until the Sun came up.
And my favorite quote ever uttered by anyone in the history of man during a mushroom trip came from my friend from Taiwan who I split the rent with
"A house just isn't a home until you trip up in it."
At the time, it was the funniest thing Id ever heard

Oh snap, I dont think I could even begin to describe...
It was just one of them moments when I looked out of the window and there was so *much* going on, that the only way I can explain how I felt is that I thought reality itself was ripping apart. There was a little black girl looking out of the window to the left of me, and I could see in her eyes that she was sharing the same awe though her's was innocent.
I cant say if she was even real or part of that vision, I've never hallucinated a person before but then again why would a little girl be awake in the early morning hours looking out a window?
Either way she had a profound impact on me, wether or not she was real doesnt matter. I dont believe in ghosts or spirits or souls, anything like that, but I've thought that she may have been someone who had died and used to live there and that somehow my state of mind was able to bring her image temporarily out of the past. I've had much stranger experiences during mushroom peaks so I wouldnt doubt it, but I dont feel like Im ever supposed to find out.
I knew the neighbors too, and they had a bunch of kids living there, but I had never seen her before.
