I make the best hard-boiled eggs and homemade mayo for the best egg-salad in the world I need a stove
I hate it when people cook eggs for egg salad, but when they cook it, it has that grey goobery film around the yolk. There is a technique to avoid the grey film people!!!
the mayo I make, homemade, has nothing to do with the white shit you buy at the store. it's golden.. an egg yolk, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and oil.. very hard to make and build-up in a whippy cream. so amazingly good. so yeah just that and hard-boiled eggs and paprika.
oh man. i would pay you to make me a sandwich someday i went through an egg-salad sandwich phase..i think that would make me want to revive it
Egg yolk has iron and the egg white has sulphur. Overcooking causes the iron to react with sulphur forming the black circle outside the yolk, iron sulphide.
I have a thing with egg-salad sandwiches too, I seem to get them all the time.. with lettuce, tomato and a slice of american cheese............ on toasted whole wheat! soooooo good.

i like making devilled eggs outta hardboiled eggs... boil, cut in have, take the yolk out, mix yolk(s) with mayo and mustard and salt and pepper to taste til its all mushed up, stuff back into the white egg halves, sprinke lightly with paprika for colour mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
