I swear... so many will have to die, along with these memes. Prematurely awake. Spreading the word. *wake up, wake up*
right on. The Brandon Mayfield thing. that's the only example I actually know of. yeah idk. I'm really not that knowledgeable. it's just that most people haven't read any of the actual legislation (I've read some of it. not all. it's very dense.) and decide to get caught up in this wave of hysteria without actually knowing anything about it. I guess just being the age I am surrounds me with these type of people, haha.
guess it'll turn out beautiful either way, eh? maybe I should learn to let go of compulsive rehearsing habits. and live.
I havent read the whole thing either, but I have a friend who is a lawyer and she has, and the subject bothers her to the point she can barely talk about it. The principles bother me to no end We would not neeed this kind of governmental invasion if they weren't practicing bad foreign policy in the first place
what if you found out that the patriot act intercepted and prevented a terrorist attack on a plane you were going on? this is aimed at the enemy. unless you're an infamous columbian drug cartel, nothing that you do is significant enough to attract the CIA's attention. and to think that you are is just plain ignorant.
i'm not giving an opinion on whether or not i think the government has morals, i'm just saying unless you're big name the government doesn't have time for you. does the CIA really have time to go around spying on 18 year olds suspected of marijuana use? if you even brought that up to a CIA member they'd laugh in your face. hell, even cops that deal with serious shit will laugh at you if you ask them if they work with drug enforcment.
Captain Obvious strikes again! Well, in this hick town, local cops are having trouble coming up with enough money too keep officers on routine patrols. And they can forget about getting any overtime. Delusions of persecution? a real big ego? Getting high on all the attention he's getting here, 'cause the Feds won't pay any attention to his "revolutionary" ideas?
it shouldn't be like that. its wrong that we're monitored and watched and recored every second. Its an invasion of privacy.
