It's okay. Just not my favorite. So tell me, Pressed Rat, O Wise Guru of All Things Brewed and Alcoholic: if I wanted to expand my knowledge of beers, how would I begin? I mean beyond a vague intuitive knowing that I tend to like dark brown beers better than IPA's?
Each person has different tastes. I would start by just trying different beers you come across. That's what I did. Sometimes you will stumble upon something that is excellent, and other times it will be the complete opposite. If you like brown ales, then I would definitely recommend Samuel Smith's 'Nut Brown', which is the king of all brown ales.
I'll consider that when I order tonight. So far I've figured out that I absolutely hate it when I spend $10 on an imported beer from England or something, and they bring it to me in a clear glass bottle. Oh btw, Rat dear, you may want to check your messages when you get the chance.
dave told me, with no small amount of shock, that he really enjoyed budweiser's american ale with his food the other day.
some locals gave me 3 budweisers while they were playing horse shoe in Wyoming this summer. I hadn't drank in weeks. They were bomb.
Back to Heinekein. on st patty's day....andy came home and handed me a Guiness 22 bopper. Told me happy st patty's day. Then he proceeds to whip out one of the Heine keggers and proceeds to tap it and have it just for himself. he thought it was hilarious. though i still got mine
the minis are awesome. I was so excited to see it. less to recycle too. do you guys keep kegs around kc?
we have a kegorator. if i didn't love beer so much, i'd probably weigh about 130. but some things just aren't worth it....
I like it too, I like the big bottles. I can drink one whole one on the way to the lake. It's fun. Heinie has to be cold though or it tastes tres skunky.
PFFFFFFT! I'm rambo, el topo, zeus, goliath, mars, neo, and boy george rolled into one package and raised by wolves. I also wear an MF doom mask and IV LSD into me at all times. Your bullets will go right through me.
