    i have a friend who i recently discovered is afraid of spiders. it completely changed my view of him; before i though he called every single spider a black widow or brown recluse because he wanted to get a reaction out of you, but he actually is just scared of spiders and wants to pretend they're more dangerous than they are to justify his fear.
