There are countless documentaries interviewing soldiers in Iraq and they are often questioned as to how they feel about being there and if they think they should be there at all. A good majority hate being over there and really don't like the idea of being the invaders or intruders to a foreign country.

Of course what are they going to do about it because quitting or leaving is considered unpatriotic and they themselves would rather fight through then give up or in their minds fail. And then there are the extremely brainwashed ones who will do whatever our government tells them because they still believe in fighting for America and its freedom.

...and a great many enlisted to fight terrorists like the ones that are trying to take control of Iraq, killing their own people and bombing their own mosques in the process. It was terrorists like these that orchestrated the 9/11 attacks, and they don't want those unfortunate people to have died in vain.
