i have a bunny too....his name is meeko, hes a dwarf and part albino rabbit (his mum was albino and his dad was grey) sometimes when my kitty is laying down he'll just cuddle up to her and she'll give him a bath....its really cute too watch because it's almost like hes her kitten....(she cant have kittens, shees spayed :() i also think its cute when she carries him around bye the scruff of his neck. one tiime my sisters cat (bully) tried to eat him and my kitty fought her off. another time my cat was asleep and my sisters cat was getting ready too pounce but meeko ran infront of my cat and started snorting at my sisters cat......im going to miss him because my mum is allergic to him :( we have to get rid of him and thats gonna be heart wrenching :(

Bernie went to the vet ... He had ear mites :(
He got a shot and will be getting 2 more shots to get rid of them.
He weighs 7lbs lol!! The vet said he was very very healthy :D must be all those fresh veggies & fruit I feed him :) He lost some weight since I first got him because I feed him all natural food plus veggies and fruit. My friend that previously owned him fed him store brand crap.

When I left the vet I still had some questions that were not answered ...What kind of bunny vet experinces you all have? Good? Bad? Ok?

Were off bunnies. We had 7 at one point...all of them got horrible diseases and died long drawn out deaths (or had to be rehomed to stop them catching said diseases) it was the most hideous experience ever

Theyre too fragile and get ill too easily. cost a fortune, break your heart...no-one tells you theyre going to be 10 times more work than a dog or a cat
    Miss em all:(

They were indoor bunnies. We had a much bigger flat back then and they had their own room

First it was snuffles brought in by an old girl we rescued, then EC (probably from her too) which was the worst of all, they became terribly thin, wobbly on their feet and became floppy. We had other problems brought by the old girl too, like mites etc. The whole thing cost a fortune in vets bills and were still in debt, only for them to go before our eyes anyway, mostly in awful ways:(

We have mice now. Much easier. It doesnt take the pain away though:(

    Thanx lots

My little brother got two rabbits quite awhile ago as a Christmas present from my mom. Oh wow, it must've been at least 7 years ago. A white one with brown spots and a plain brown one. He never really named them, they kinda adopted the names "white bunny" and "brown bunny". He's always been like that with naming pets though, he's never quite happy with a certain name and he just kinda gives up on trying to name them.

Not too long after we had them, my mom decided to make them a little pen outside in the yard so they can play in the grass. My brother had them outside and I guess ran to get something from inside the house real quick. I guess our German Shepard hadn't quite realized they were part of the family, or something... but she grabbed ahold of the white one. Didn't kill it though, luckily. My mom took it the vet and while the muscles in her neck were damaged, the regained strength and she was alright. Unfortunately she was quite timid after that and got sick pretty easily. About 3 years later, she passed away christmas night from a cold. :(

The brown one is still going strong though. He's a little devil too! I swear he hates me, lol. When I was in high school, I used to sit on the floor and do my homework and he would sneak off with my worksheets and I was constantly telling my teacher that the reason the corners were chewed off my papers was because "My bunny ate my homework". And I'm the only person he's ever bitten! I've tried to be friends with that rabbit, but now its war. Lol. He loves to play with my brother though... they play fetch and everything! His cage is in the basement now, but we keep it open so he can run around the basement. And he's pretty much litter trained so we don't have to worry about him making a mess. But when he's upstairs, it seems like all he does is poop..

when my neighbors are away, i rabbit sit their two babies.
a couple of years back, i was taking my dog over to a farm by me, where there are sheep. sasha (my dog) is a border collie and, there is nothing she loves more then to herd the sheep.
well, we were walking to the farm and, both of us at the same time saw the white rabbit on the trail. where i live we have alot of wild jack rabbits, (their not really rabbits; their hares.) before i could grab sasha... off she ran. she was almost on top of the rabbit before he saw her. man, did that rabbit make one hell of a screeing cry while trying to get away from sasha!
i'm sure poor mr. bunny thought his days were numbered, and he was now dinner.
the rabbit stop running and sasha was on top of him cuddling him and whining... sasha just wanted to be friends with him that's all, poor bunny did not know that though!
i brought the rabbit home, and called my neighbors, to find out if this was their kid's rabbit... sure enough he was, he got out and ran away.
i found out his name is moonlight and, his brothers name is snowflake. and, that is how i became a rabbit sitter.

i have four cats and two dogs now. the cats and dogs just love having the two rabbits stay over with them! the rabbits sure seem to love to be with the cats and dogs too!
i have just one complant with rabbits though this, is when, i try sleep, i get woken up with thumping from under the bed. other then the thumping, bunny rabbits are way cool as far as i am concernd!
