I like getting sun, not so much for the tanning, but more for the feeling. Too much sun is a bad thing, even if you don't feel yourself getting burned. I just wish there was a way around it. Plus I think farmer's tans make a person look really strange when they take their shirts off.
To each his/her own. I actually do have an active lifestyle outdoors. My favorite hobbies include swimming, biking, traveling, and walking while listening to my iPOD. Although I hate team sports, I like to watch them being played outside. Whenever I go to Alcalá de Henares (my second home), most of my time is spent outdoors. All I have to do is wear high SPF and stay in the shade as often as possible. I also eat lots of fruits and vegtables. Unfortunately, strictly vegetarians restaurants are rare in Spain. lol

i really don't remember barbie dolls being all that tan... my skin's an asshole. for about my first 12 years or so i could have touched the sun itself and only gotten tanner, but then it completely changed so that now i burn really easily. unfortunately, my childhood skin got me into the habit of not using sunscreen, so i'm always burning myself now.
50% African American and 50% Portuguese Creole I have the perfect blend of skin; thick enough to deal with the harsh sunlight and yet light enough to produce a noticeable tan every summer :sunny: Hotwater
Okay, I was able to borrow my girlfriend's camera and upload a picture of me. It does not exactly do my skin justice, but oh well.
I actually do. As I said, that picture does not do my skin justice. Not only are there shadows, my skin was slightly cooked by the sun. It's not the best picture of me.
Here's another picture. You can thank my girlfriend, Alexis, for allowing me to use her computer and finding pictures in her files. She is very paranoid and certain I will delete her pictures when she turns her back. lol This is when I was nineteen and trying to be "rebellious". I think I was drunk when this picture was taken.
I can find any skin colour attractive, but I generally very strongly dislike intentional tans. If it just happens, sure, that's fine.... But people who tan on purpose are usually pretty repulsive looking, and they've ALWAYS got pretty repulsive personalities.
