Ok the WEIRDEST thing happened to me while I was in VA. I ran into Griffen's x g/f and she was absolutely pleased to see me. well I was talking to some people and in the corner of my ear i hear his x g/f tell my friends about this dream that she had of Griffen and me. Before I tell you the dream, I NEVER met or even talked to this girl. Well the dream goes like this, people were throwing condoms at Griffen and were telling him that he needed to use the right type of condom because we had a condom accident and I became pregnant. Then he put a ring in the middle of a cake to propose to me. Half of this actually happened! how did she know??? Should I tell her that she was right?I know this is an odd question, but is it possible to be pregnant, but still get your period? I completely lost my sanity down in VA. I spoke at his funeral and well that was the hardest thing that I've ever did in my life. For some reason I feel like this is not over. Like there's more to the story.
Thank you for your kind words. it means a lot to me. His parents were very strong. This was the first time that we met, but I felt so connected to them. I couldn't imagine losing a child. I know they are suffering and I wish that I lived closer to them to be there for them.
It's possible to still bleed and be pregnant. It's known as vanishing twin syndrome. Or "The doctor doesn't know shit" syndrome. Don't get your hopes up, but definitely test if you feel the need next cycle.
Wow! What a strange experience. I would tell her! But yeah, I've known friends that have had what seemed like periods while they were actually pregnant, but I didn't want to bring that up, and get your hopes up, I don't really know how common it is. Is your period normal except the being late part?
yeah it was strange. i'm still trying to let everything sink in. My period is pretty much normal besides being late. last month I had the weirdest period. it only lasted two days. usually it lasts 5 days.
Usually "periods" which occur during pregnancy are the Vanishing Twin Freek mentioned or Implantation bleeding. Either way, they are almost always very light and very short. I've had implantation bleeding, and it was a light bleeding that only lasted a few hours. If you have a normal, 4 or more day period (or however long your periods are) and it is just as heavy as normal, the chances of being pregnant are slim. In any case at all, a pregnancy test will be accurate at this time. Use first morning urine, take it as soon as you wake up. These tests are almost always accurate.
the WEIRDEST thing happened to me again!!!! Today when I was driving home from school with my mom she asked me if I was pregnant because she had a dream that I was pregnant with Griffen's baby. She told me that she would be very happy and that Griffen's parents would most likely be happy too. I freaked out!!! Why are people having these dreams? I'm going out to get a pregnancy test even though I did get my period.
