Holly, I heard that castor oil can cause meconium. We used castor oil AND blue and black cohosh and still no baby but we DID have meconium. Wether they were related or not I don't know. It was enough of a concern that it majorly factored in to why we went to the hospital. And they took my baby away when he was born to do a bunch of stuff to his lungs. :( So, just be careful! You're a smart girl, not nagging! :)

Oh, and I SURELY did poo from it! But, it wasn't the most pleasant poo, if I may say. It was....volcanic. Take a hot bath and drink some prune juice, relaaaaaax, then sit on the throne with a good book and see if you can't get something out. (Poo or baby, either is fine.)

Well, I started pooing last night, thank goodness...So I'm not going to do the castor oil. Like every morning since Thursday, I'm waking up ultra crampy and feeling contractions every once in a while throughout the day, with a major crampy/contraction session in the early evening.

But I'm just ignoring it. "This isn't the real thing" I say to Brian everytime it happens again. And it does go away.

But I talked with the baby last night about what's happening and what she might hear and feel, and that it's all okay. So there would be no trepidation on her part. And there is no trepidation on mine. I'm ready, but after the last couple of good night sleeps I've had, I feel I can face anything. *pumps arms*

Well, with almost every state in the union represented in the big wait, as well as several other countries, this kid has a major audience....might even be a bigger demographic than the TomKitten...haha

I'll at least make a romantic dinner and we'll take a shower together (I love showering together...hehe)...

He's pooped from moving and cleaning this weekend, and we don't have much in the way of extra monies....so probably nothing majorly out-there....but we can always pull off a fantastic night in...

    :D

Maire is far more special than TomKitten, I reassure you. Celebrities are too overrated. Plus you're not doing the whole creepy scientology thing, so...you're automatically better parents, hehe. I assure you, the Texas representative is checking up on your status every chance possible. :D ...At least one of them...are there anymore Texas representatives? Hehe. And don't think for a second we don't all want pictures ASAP! This is an HF baby. Way more important than any celebrity baby.

I'm STILL walking around with a watermelon between my legs...

    Nothing new.

Last night, I was up most of the night with contractions...But after about 6 glasses of water, I could sleep through them...so grr...

Baby is taking her sweet sweet time...

That's what I'm thinking....she's just got a major case of stage fright...Too many eyes are watching and waiting for her grand entrance. Too much pressure...If we just forget about her for a little while, maybe she'll try to sneak in...:)

    Exactly!
Enjoy the last few days you have with your man as a couple. Be nice to each other and be loving. Ina May says the loving and sexy vibes that get the baby in are the same vibes that get a baby out. ;)

You know you can go two more weeks? Don't want to worrry you, but it's totally normal to go to 42 weeks. I don't think you will, with all you been doing, but be open to the possibility.

And now, we are officially not watching the pot. :sunglasse

I know I can go two more weeks...but as crampy as I continue to be and all...just doesn't feel like I'm going to be pregnant too much longer...

but then...I could carry this child until she graduates...haha....

If brian wasn't working so gosh darn hard it would be easier to get the sexy vibes going....but his libido is mimicking mine in the lack of sexy sexy feelings...damn it...lol...

Oh well...will get the mojo going somehow...:)

    and commence ignoring baby...

it might take a little more effort, but buy a bottle of wine (you can have a little!), and when he comes home, have the tv off, candles lit, a couple of glasses and some sexy jazz playing. Sit on the couch and snuggle. Snuggling is good! And if you both fall asleep, that's okay too.
