do you actually have a trailer to move into, or is this just a hypothetical sometime sort of thing?

if there's already a trailer, i definitely would consider it worth it to move in immediately, even with no carpet.

Yes there is a trailer. And I can't move in due to all my stuff pushed everywhere and two big rolls of carpet in the hallway.

Maybe Im a hellish person? haha I always fitted in so perfectly in the city. To me it's inspiring, it always made me want to be outside, walking around, doing things, getting lost, discovering things, being involved with so many things.

Here I cant find a good job, everything's more complicated than it needs to be because I dont drive and I dont want to fucking drive. The idea irritates me so much. I like walking and trains and buses that take you everywhere. Feeling connected to everything else. And the people here, well I havent met that much people and some I really really like and Im the kind of person who gets along with EVERYONE, but I dont know most are very uninspiring and of course you get the same in the city, but since there's more people, there's also more that actually inspire me. I guess it's all a matter of perspective and I cant really explain it. Suburban places bore me to death. And I work at the mall? haha It's like everything I didnt want to ever do, but hey Im in love, the good comes with the bad.

    You know what I realize?

I think I felt prompted to write this thread because I was playing pool for low-stakes in a seedy poolhall yesterday, and this group of youngsters walks in and starts making a whole lot of fucking noise.

I'm handing my wallet to this fucking dude, and annoyed by the noise when this black girl from their gang passes by the table I was playing on to order a beer at the bar.

Man! The body on this woman!!!

Gosh, I love me a black woman! And I used to see them everyday when I lived in Brooklyn! :piggy::piggy:

well i'm not a fan of the suburbs either; i basically consider them to be a part of the city, even though there are pretty major differences. the nice thing about the burbs is that it's a little closer to nature, and farther from the ghetto. still too many people and too much traffic for my taste though. also, i hate public transportation, so that does nothing for me. the diversity of the city is kind of nice, but it would do me no good without a car to get to the various things the city has to offer anyway (i have a car, just making a counterpoint to the public transit argument). and with the good comes a lot of bad too. seeing crazy bums occasionally can be interesting; having to deal with them several times a day becomes unbelievably irritating to me.

really, i can see how a social butterfly would prefer the city, but for someone like me, it's mostly just constant annoyance.

after re-reading this post, i think it's more rambling than actually making the points i wanted to, but alas, i'm too lazy to revise it, so it shall remain as-is.

there's attractive black women outside the ghetto too. and they're less likely to have several children/STDs, and also less likely to want you to die for being white.

yes i know you're not white, but i can't imagine those particular black women being that great of company, even if they do like you.

I like the city as a weekend thing. I could see myself living there, but not forever. I'd never wanna raise kids in the city.

if I lived in the city I'd want to live alone though. just because there are so many people everywhere, having a quiet space all to myself would be imperative.

I call this a suburb, but it's really just a small town. I dont know, I guess from the places I've lived it seems like a small place with no people, no traffic, no anything.

You see? I love public transportation. I used to write so much riding the subway or sitting in a park. Now I never write.

And I fucking love the homeless people. I've had some of the most interesting conversations with homeless people and there's this one dude I met on my bday, one of the people who I've met who are the most in touch. I always became friends with them, I would give them cigs or cookies or muffins, the one in the station near my house dedicated themselves to open the door for me. They were my friends. Here I have no friends, besides John's friends. I mean I have one friend, but she lives in the city and we never get to hang out and here I never get to meet people, in the city I meet people all the time.
But I know, different people like different things. It's like the cities make me very manic and sometimes that hasnt been a good thing, but I always felt so active and like I was always doing something. While now, Im very happy with the life I share with John and being a mommy to be, but outside of that, it's like there's nothing else going on in my life. I didnt mean to sound like Im complaining, it's just something I really miss.

    It really depends.

Some black ladies are real hip. They tend not to like me though, because I'm not white.

Yeah, the ghetto girls didn't really like me- EXCEPT for the quiet ones who didn't really fit in with the druglawdz.

They are all looking for the nice 'light-skinned, good-hair guy'. Haha!

I have noticed that a lot of black girls seem to like white guys.

Black females seem to be a rather conservative group sometimes.

Oh yeah. It's impossible to see a black woman with a black guy, unless said guy is a drug dealer. They really resent black men...

    True story!

I have always assumed its due to the higher rate of absenteeism among black fathers.

They also seem to be a pretty Christian group on the whole.

    Yes_.

They seem to think the fact black women earn more as a rule, than black men has to do with character flaws.

Which is, furthermore a typically American way of thinking. They don't realize that there simply aren't many middling jobs for unskilled black men, like there are for black women.

I'm talking sales, nurses...things like that. So they are either unemployed, or do dumb shit and end up in and out of jail.

Then it becomes a thing where black men are scum and cheaters, etc. etc.

Black women are tough, if you're not white. Fo shizzle.

These were all old and ugly, but really cool people. And that black wise dude I met, is one of the most beautiful people I ever met.

I rarely met young homeless people, they were alright.

That's a really excellent point. As the US moves away from manufacturing, this is one of the many ways its hurting society.

Plus more people are scared of black men than black women, obviously.

I was kind of semi oblivious to racial problems growing up, as my school was probably 1/3 black...but I remember one of my early jobs this bitchy white woman I worked with said flat out she had a bias against black males, and I was kind of surprised...

then an innocent black guy came in to buy something as the store was closing, and she absolutley freaked out and made him leave.threatened to call the cops...I was absolutely horrified by her behavior...of course this was also in pussy Seattle
