I guess I have been luckier than I realize, because it is not like Tennessee is known for its vegetarianism, especially East Tennessee. lol

Well you never know who might come your way, or who you might influence to become vegetarian.

 

when i went to bonnaroo in TN there where thousands of vegetarians... but i guess that doesnt count.

I didn't say we don't exist, we are just usually in hiding. lol But someone else has to be buying the vegetarian products at the store ... I would hope. lol

 

Dude I bet that's a good way to meet vegetarian chicks in the area, hang out at the local grocery store right next to the tofu.

alas-most local stores dont carry tofu! i asked my grocery store if they had tofu, they didnt even know what it was. (im serious, they had NO CLUE) i told them, and they go, "is it like cheese?" hehe rednecks

 

ya can make your own tofu at home pretty easily. instructions can be found lotsa places online. its a fun and easy process. especially if you use your own soy beans to produce the soy milk.

LOL That is funny. Did you atleast get them to order some? Most grocery stores will order some to test it out and see how well it sells if you ask.

 

I think its awesome all you guys are veggies !! Its definitly a turn on when a guy cares about his body, animals and the enviornment!

I was joking. I agree with you on both accounts. I have started making more things from stratch and I even had a small garden this year. It makes you feel much better and have more understanding and appreciation for your food and the environment.

 

Yeah, or you could just hang out on a vegetarian forum.

 

Ah but see the problem with that is there aren't always any local veggie ladies on forums like this. Yes there's ones from Arizona and Canada and probably a hundred other places, but I have yet to meet any in the area.

actually the HipForums is a great place to meet friends. if ya stick around long enough you'll meet a bunch of cool people from your area.

i know of at least 2 couples who met on HF who have gotten married...
