I Need Shrooms! Help

i dont trust myself to go out in the wild and find mushrooms, alot of them will kill you. plus im in co and id have no idea where to go. I know where to get payote....

 

wish i could get some peyote. closest i can get is mailorder peruvian torch. no matter.

anyway, yeah, picking your own CAN be safe, but isn't for the general public.

yea, i wouldnt even know where to begin with pickin them...better safe then sorry. What was that u were saying in another post about injecting...oh what was it...messilian or something allong those lines, into the jars insead of spores. whats better? im not going crazy with quantity, theyre just for me and my bf and brothers. so im not too worried about having a ton. Im not into selling. I aggree with what u said elsewhere about how it just takes the spirituallity out of it. I wouldnt want to sell something that could change someones life.

They usually grow under pine trees. I was going to pick some but they went away before I got around to it. Can't you look at the spores under a microscope or something like that to identify them?

 

If you don't know what mycelium is you should read more into growing mushrooms, before attempting to grow them. Like nesta said, www.shroomery.org has everything anyone needs.

oh, 2ces, im not ready to grow em lol. thats y i havent and am reading up and asking questions. I used to take shrooms not knowing anything about them, and i would like to know something, and how theyre grown, to grow my own, or to be able to make sure what i am getting are actualy safe shrooms.

Im not ready to do payote. I think its a very spiritual thing, and I would like to do it when I feel fully ready to experiance that. I know alot of people that do that(or any other drug) should not be doing them. They need to be at peace with themselves, and are spiritually ready to experiance a mind altering trip. My friends keeps trying to trip with me, and I wont do it. She keeps saying she needs to trip because she is in such a bad place. But to me that seems like playing with fire. I dont wanna trip with someone whos a little fucked in the head at the moment.

I have done mescaline, and would love to do that again. That was the best trip Ive ever had. And i loved that my stoumach wasnt all upset and gasey like shrooms make them.

 

no they don't, you're most likely thinking of Amanita muscaria mushrooms (aka fly agaric or "mario mushrooms") which contain no tryptamines at all and are more of a delirient than a psychedelic, and are no where near as safe as psilocybian mushrooms (i've heard reports of hepatoxicity and other nasty things with fly agarics)

insearchofmore, i never did any drugs until i was 15 and did DXM my first time. apart from one or two low doses of that i never did anything else until i started smoking pot when i was 16. however i've been reading almost everything i can get my hands on about drugs since i was 13 or 14 or so, because i figured i needed to get educated before i started making decisions that could change my life, potentially for better or for worse. and since then i've never entirely stopped wanting to learn more, so i do what i can.

anyway, i was talking about mycellium, which is the actual body structure of this fungus. the mushroom isn't really the main part of the organism, its more like the fruit. you could compare mycellium to being the roots of a tree, sort of. it grows in the material used for food and is the most important part of the fungus. you only need two spores to colonize a jar, but you need a lot of spore solution. instead, you can use the amount of solution used for one jar and inject it instead into partially sterilized honey water or water with karo syrup in it, and allow the spores to germinate and let a little mycellium grow in it. it wont live long in there, too humid and not enough nutrition, but you can get enough mycellium in there to mix it all up and put it in a sterile syringe and use that instead of spores. since the mycellium has already been established and grown a bit, using myc. solution instead of spores GREATLY increases the speed with which the jars colonize, and also you can get more jars with the same initial amount of spores (a ten cc syringe of spore solution can get you maybe 10-20 jars, or you can use one cc to make a jar of myc. solution and use THAT to innoculate 10-20 jars instead, multiplying your final yield quite a bit)

using mycellium instead of spores opens up a few more possibilities for ruining it, though. more chances for contamination, etc. not recommended for your first grow, but its a really handy trick further down the line, and if you ruin a jar of myc. solution it should be really easy to tell and you've only wasted a negligable amount of spores.

 

Oh I c, it's pretty easy to do if you really want to.... Mescaline is the main psychedelic alkaloid in peyote, and involves a fair amount of nausea even by itself.

May I ask why you would classify peyote as a spiritual thing to do but not mushrooms?

however, peyote has a reputation, deserved or not, for being "more" of a trip. also, especially out west, there is much pomp and ceremony around it, an official, recognized religion is based on it, and it has aquired a certain mystique. probably somewhat intimidating for many people. and besides, even if it's all in her head, if she doesnt feel ready for it then she's probably NOT ready for it.

besides, mushrooms are easier to come by in an ethical manner (unless you're an NAC member and can legally grow your own peyote or go to peyote gardens to obtain then), bring less nausea, and can still provide very strong, very spiritually moving trips. i think thats enough to choose mushrooms over peyote...i mean hell, even the indians throw up during peyote ceremonies!

personally i would LOVE the chance to try proper peyote, but i would need to grow it myself or get it from an NAC member to really trust that it was ethically harvested and not ripped out of the ground by some fucking irresponsible drug-hungry hippy. the Lophophoras are considered endangered, after all.

Peyote was a fucked-up time. I kept being sucked into a psychedelic trance but like the visuals were mostly colors, IDK how to classify how I felt, I thought I would be like fired up and shit but I basically just sat there encapsulated by a trance... I wish I had more so I could understand it more, but it's so hard to get anyways, especially in the east. Only family could provide that type of shit on the east for anything remotely resembling a reasonable price AFAIK.

 

haha... does it help to tell u i was a nanny and they used to call me mary poppins lol. I have just heard(true or not) that peyote causes a much more intense high. I want to be with someone that understands whats going on and incase I need something can be there for me. Ive heard most people trip for a few days too. Im thinking about doin it this summer. But im not sure. Things in my life are really crazy. Im taking finals graduating school. moving, taking state boards, and starting a new job all before feb 1st. And after that I have a 9month apprentiship to go through. So probably will happen in a year. Ok, now tell me if this is true. Does mescaline come from peyote then? I thought that it was found in pellets around a cactus, but didnt know what kind. nesta have u grown them urself or do u just know everything about doing it?? Thats an office max pen in case your wondering. They are officially supporting my habbit lol, a hairspray cap, and a peice of foil. i've grown mushrooms. actually started when i was 17 or 18, still in highschool. i don't anymore though.

peyote should not last more than one day at most. mescaline comes from peyote and a few other cacti such as peruvian torch and san pedro. but unlike most mescaline-bearing cacti, peyote also produces a number of other psychoactive alkaloids which alter the nature of the trip and will cause it to be unlike a purely mescaline induced trip. none of these normally last longer than about 10 hours or so, though i suppose after-effects may be noted. also, fewer people use peyote recreationally than most other psychedelics, and so the common dose is usually fully psychedelic, whereas a common dose of acid or mushrooms is rarely very strong at all (most people only take about an eighth of mushrooms, which is a relatively mild trip, or one or two hits of acid, usually also a pretty mild trip)

people used to only small doses of other psychedelics may feel -something- for a few days after, i have no way of disputing that, but they should NOT be tripping for three days. i dont know where this myth started, but i've heard it a lot, even out here in ohio.

i have done a very small dose of mescaline via peruvian torch cacti once, only achieving slightly above threshold effects, and it does feel quite different than mushrooms or acid, but it has a LOT of potential for nausea. i didnt get too sick, but most people feel ill at the beginning of pure mescaline trips, let alone when eating a cactus full of drugs.

if you don't mind me asking, how would you describe the appearance of the mescaline you took? because it is very, very rare on the black market these days. its too costly with too little monetary benefit for the average chemist to be interested in except for personal use, and there is very little demand for it. but there still IS demand for it, even though almost none is produced and sold. many people are sold things under the impression that they are buying mescaline, but it usually turns out to be something like LSD, 2C-B, or something else. the dosage of mescaline is several hundred milligrams, which would fill up at LEAST one whole large gelatin capsule with PURE mescaline. most likely you'd need a couple pills. pure mescaline forms long, needlelike crystals, too.

we took 2 capules full. It was a power i think white or a light color. It didnt make me nausious, but it was the strongest trip i ever had. Mix between lsd, shrooms and x i think. Alothough ive never dont lsd or x thats what people say. It was awsome, My friend got them at a rainbow event last year. he bought like 100 and sold them at 20 a peice. He sold them to me for 10 so i dont know how much they actually cost. Whats ohio like. Are there many alternative people there? Waht do u think about my peice lol

i live in columbus, so it isn't too bad as far as a good mix of all different types of people. columbus is, in fact, one of the polling capitals of the country, because the ethnic breakdown of the city almost perfectly mimicks that of the country by percentage. also we have one of the larger populations of african imigrants, a thriving gay community, "hippies", all sorts of people, really. but its still too far east for me, too stuck up most of the time.

i think the sooner you get a new pipe the better...i doubt its too healthy to smoke out of plastic pens and things

sounds like you could have actually gotten real mescaline, and if it has family links than all the greater the chance you weren't ripped off. mescaline has a much more gradual and drawn out come up than most psychedelics like acid and mushrooms, though.

 

im sure it was mescaline. i really dont know what else it could be if it wasnt. He said the person he got it from told him it only comes around a few times a year and that they got it from another country. I dont really know i jsut know it was fun.

 

InSearch of more, invest in a new piece of glass. Plenty of shops in your area....There's a couple on like colfax and federal ish, and then a bunch on broadway and evans ish. Found some of my favorites pieces inexpensively in those areas.

They are pretty simple to grow. After you master the PF tek you can go on into casing and even bulk growing!! Don't get to put down if you don't do it right the first time it took me 3 tries to get a decent yeild.

Also you are pretty lucky to get extracted mescaline!!! Most people sell it only in form of cactus. I read something that Dr. Shulgin said that he estimates that there are only 20 people tops in the world that could synth mesc.
