I think you have every right to call her on it. She should realize what she is doing and be reminded of it. It's not like going up to a guy on the street eating a bigmac and asking them to stop eating unhealthy. People do not have a right to tell others what they should be doing with their own body. But when you're pregnant it is no longer just your body. You lost that privilege when you became pregnant. If she was shooting up heroin people would not be so liberal about what she was doing and say, "Well, it's her life". But since it's cigarettes, something not AS harsh as other drugs, suddenly its wrong to call pregnant women on it. There is a right and wrong way of doing it, but I think that it should be done. It's just societies way of protecting the innocent. The little one without a voice. She should feel embarrassed. That's a very embarrassing thing to do as a mother and it's selfish. My sister is a mother and she smokes. But she does it near a smoke grabbing machine inside the bathroom and makes sure to close the door each time she is in there to smoke. So all you dudes feeling sympathy for that mom need to be knocked over the head with a fanny bag of penis
Its common here too. cause most pregnant girls here are 18-21 so they get into cig smoking and becoming knocked up. I wanna punch them for the sake of the baby but one not my choice, their body and two they probably have no teeth i can knock out
Smoking while pregnant has become taboo...30 years ago it was nothing to see pregnant women smoking. Yes, it's bad, but so are a lot of things. I would never do it, I don't smoke anyway, but it's not your place to tell someone not to do something that is perfectly legal.
i see it all time but who the hell am i to tell a complete stranger that their damaging their unborn baby. its not like the women don't know what theyre doing. its their body and theyre going to do whatever they want with it
My mama smoked while she was pregnant with me. I'm healthy. She tried to stop, at least. Got lots of fucked up family who did a lot worse while pregnant. I'm thankful that's all she did.
no i got it fro psycology today magazine. and i have sufficiant evidence on the internet to back it up. while iron deficiecy causes auditory problems, a little less then normal is supposed to let the kid keep from being a blabber mouth. thats why i put my reasoning part at the bottom of my post. i want my kid to be smart, quiet enjoys reading, etc. no, not a nerd... just an intellectual, so no rap music lol.
