Addict might be a little strong, I like to think of myself as an avid consumer. I can and have stopped smoking for long terms, for various reasons. Nothing changed except I wasnt high and life is better when I'm high so thankfully the stopping thing never really stuck. 2 years was the longest I went though, just for a relationship, should have stuck with buds
There's a big difference between physiological addiction and psychological addiction. Physical addiction means you go through a withdrawal period with serious physical side effects that are obvious. Psychological addiction happens to a large percentage of the population. Gambling is a psychological addiction. For addicted gamblers it's almost as easy to quit as smoking pot. You can stop gambling/smoking at any given moment, but the desire will return again. But it's nowhere near what happens when you withdraw from physical addictions. When you run out of pot, do you totally freak out and think you're gonna die if you don't get more - fast? If not then you're not really addicted in the strict definition.
as of now, i've been without it for as long as i ever have since i started smoking chronically... little over a week deffinately gets easier after 3-4 days, when i stop looking under my dresser and car floor mat for stray buds.. lol i felt like such a fiend. i feel i could go another week no problem, but why should i?
I wish I was smoking more than I am actually smoking and yeah it sucks so if you can then just keep smoking do it for those who don't can't.
I just think damn, now I have to spend money on a plant when I could fill my backyard with it. If that day ever comes, then it really will be the land of the free.
Does it mean your addicted when, if you cant get any weed, you put your pipe on the hot stove to hit the resin? Btw this works amazingly well. even on a pipe that has only burned about a quarter of midgrade you can get several small highs. If your pipe is clogged...id suggest you have a few friends to help cause my shit is smokin like crazy and its mostly clear. tip. put only the bowl on top of the coil. dont burn yourself.
i have found for myself that it is truly a mental addication. i don't have physical withdrawals. the only time i have felt myself needing it while quitting was when i had stomach pain and nausea. it is an instant cure for that, and other ailments. smoke til i die
I don't think I would have ever thought of this, that is a great idea. I'm glad bud is easy to find and I don't have to smoke resin right now, but good to know.
"weeds not addictive!" is just a common propaganda line from pro cannabis organizations. but who cares if its addictive? doesnt even fucking matter... why do all the anti cannabis morons bring that up as a point... weeds addictive... AND?!
People from Florida seem to be the most paranoid about cannabis. Could it be due to the fact that Florida has some of the most draconian cannabis laws in the country? Florida needs to wake up and smell the cannabis cause it's coming to a convenience store near you one day.
I know a lot of weed addicts and they have epic anger mood swings, they're also boring so very very boring. You'd think some people would grow up after 5+ years of daily bong use. Weed is damaging just like most stuff not used in moderation.
I havent smoked in probably 4 months now. and I am really missing it, but I am not really craving it! Really want to find a dealer for it though, bc before i was getting it thru an dispensary. but they are freakin expensive.
I used to have a strong psychological dependence, and probably still do to some extent. but nothing like when I was a little younger with my perpetual harvest setup going strong. but I have no plans to ever quit, so it doesn't bother me.
i smoked weed a lot. then i stopped and i havent smoked in almost a year.... i dont feel addicted at all... btw im buying some weed in two weeks
Just find a grower, not a dealer. If you find a grower they can legally become your supplier, whereas a "dealer" will never be legal.
