It depends on the moisture content of your weed. I think 380-420 is a good range. 350 is a little low, but works ok if you want more flavor and little smell, or have really dry weed. 440 is high but still in vape range if you want a thick bag or are vaping half-cured buds.
^ yeah, definitely varies based on moisture/density of your buds.. good point wonka you're probably not going to find one temperature that works great for every type of weed you buy.. you really gotta play around with it based on the qualities of the current bag your smoking.. if your bag is really dry, and your vaping it at 420+ its probably going to start to char the bud towards the end of the bowl as it gets way drier with each consecutive hit.. and toward the end it gets so crispy and dried out and makes it much more susceptible to just igniting the weed.. in my experience anyways.. but like i said, i have rarely used expensive vaporizers, so that may not be the case with yours.. considering that V-tower looks fuckin amazing.
i might have to get one too, chadcr01 haven't read one bad thing either. tell me something bad! i can get one for $220 instead of $300 from the site. i'm probably gonna go for it.
heres teh person i ordered from http://myworld.ebay.com/vapor-ca/ . Perfect feed back with a price match. So if you hesistant about the vendor take it to ebay.
So far after trying it out over the past couple of days of testing i cant really figure it out. Im not really getting stoned from it and ive been playing around with the settings and havent found any that work.
well that kind of sucks.. you don't really get baked on it? do you think the problem is with the temperature/settings, or the vape itself? id be inclined to believe you just havent got the right settings down yet.. i looked it up, and there really are no bad reviews.. like porkstock said.. so thats pretty shocking that its really not even getting you baked at all... keep us posted and thanks for the honest feedback.. im kind of reconsidering this purchase if things dont improve for you
no im sure its a sweet vape. My buddy liked it when he tried it. I have a hard time working vapes sometimes, im still trying to find the sweet spot right now. Ive been super ripped off of an easy vape and felt nothing after many volcano bags. Starting off around 440 and going down. I thought i read on some site that the manufactures said the air temp is actually 200 degrees less when it hits the herb. The temperature on the read out is what the heater core is at.
