Getting your first fake ID is one of the best moments of highschool.

 

does that mean I missed out on something, for not getting a fake id?

I mean... my parents would buy booze for me, my coworkers would, my friends sisters would... I didn't really need one if I wanted some wine or a beer

 

Without a fake, you probably missed out on a lot.

But when I was 16, most of my good friends were of age. We spent a lot of time in bars. Saw teachers there sometimes.

 

I thought canada was fairly liberal

Drinking age varies by province (19 here in BC). But they legislated that you have to ID anybody who looks under 25 - although it doesn't always happen that way.

18 across the board here....apparently they're sposed to ID anyone under 21...HA...it never happens.and on the rare occasions that it does:

"do you have ID?"
"no"
"ok"

back on topic i never go to bars, i only buy alcohol at gigs and shops as a prelude to gigs

 

i found the best pub in the world though, so i drink in pubs.
