Yeah, reading drunk ain't bad. I'm more of a writing drunk type though... even if I start reading drunk, I'll get inspired by something in the book, drop it, and start writing.

    Have you tried doing nothing?

It's difficult for me too, but I consider it an important skill.

I am very ill at ease doing nothing, especially if I'm at home in familiar surroundings.

When I stay away from the bottle, it's because I'm either poised in time doing nothing. Simply sitting down counting sheep.

Or, because I'm taking a walk or allowing myself rest.

When I seek distractions in my spare time, I start heading down the barley and wheat lane.

when i'm doing nothing, i think too much. i think myself in all these bizarre little circles that serve no purpose except to muck up the works. i'll rationalize any number of bullcrap ideas and reactions i supposedly should have had or would have had if not for this one wierd little quirk of my upbringing or history. pfft. hand me a beer. :cheers2:

    Rationalizing is doing something, KC.

But I suffer from the same ailment or tendency.

    Decent. Very Watchable.

They got their historic timing a little off which irked me, but I doubt most people would notice.
