I Want a Bike

Dude just go to walmart and buy one of those tony hawk bikes.. it's like 100 dollars, you don't need to go all out on a bicycle.

Besides theres no point buying a bmx bike if you're not gonna use it for what its made for, just riding your bike around isnt gonna be worth the money.

 

Yeah, if you just want a bike for riding to college and the store and stuff and don't want to spend a lot of money you won't have to. I always buy secondhanded bikes, had my current one for years now though. It's a normal bike with some bicyclebags over the luggage carrier and some rusty accents.
Gets me around much more comfortable as a bmx bike would. A good mountainbike would do the trick as well I suppose, but it's more expensive.

 

my mum just gave me a choice for my 18th...insurance for a car (which i can get for free) or a bike...not sure. If I get a bike then a provisional license is the same as a full license but you cant take a passenger and will also be more cost efficient..but on the other hand a car means I could drive for a few days at a time going wherever strikes my interest and sleeping in the back in a sleeping bag..also would be better for smoke drives with friends

Never said I wasn't going to get into BMX - I used to when I was a kid, but I would also be using it to get around.

And a walmart bike? Seriously? Even if I bought a commuter bike it deeefff would NOT be from walmart for multiple reasons. There are a lot of bike shops around here anyways

There's nothing bad about walmart bikes man. If it's made by a brand like Sportek, or CCM it can't be bad.

They aren't great brands, but they are great if you don't wanna spend $300 on a bike.

I dig the old school bikes...I absolutely hate harleys. A lot of em around here are cruisers too...bunch of ninnies.

The "real" Harleys are just as bad - annoying as fuck, loud as shit, but can't pick up worth a damn.
