Travel, explore, adventure. That kind of stuff. No need for an education in that line of life.

Untill you figure it out, learn math.
Who knows...maybe you'll need it one day.

I am studying medicine and I need to know math. Go figure.

Yes ofcourse. You need to be able to give back change when you sell someone a medicine.

That depends a lot. I'm a much richer person by what I've learned in school and in the rest of life.

Knowledge is power my young friend.

And smarts get a girl crank going. Women love a smart man.

Since when doctors sell medicines ?
Doctors prescribe medicines, other people sell them.

The fact that you don't use 90% of whatever figure of the knowledge you gain in high school does not mean that you should just reject that knowledge. The point of high school is not what you learn... it's the process of learning itself. Disregarding what you are taught in high school is idiotic. People who do that deserve to flip burgers for the rest of their lives.

Untrue. Lots of women love me and not because I am smart, but because I have a reputation of being the most fabulantastic lover they will ever encounter.

So in other words: have a lot of sex. That helps you more than an education.

Lots of failed doctors end up as medicine sellers.

It just so happens that not every brain is the same. Some people have logical brains, technical. Others think more with the artistic side of their brain. Obviously, the op thinks with the artistic side of his brain, he said he's good at English. I'm the same way. I tried so hard in school to get math and it never clicked. My mom would sit with me and work patiently with me and I would cry, it was so hard. Don't tell people they aren't trying if they aren't getting it. We're just not good at math. But I can do some other things quite well. I'm an excellent speller. I was reading at a college level by the time I was 12. I'm great at music, I even write music.

The op is apprently very intelligent, don't judge him on one subject.

Yeah, once I realised I didn't need it I dropped out. I felt like I learned enough in school and it was time to learn some things in the 'real' world.
I could have been a well-paid IT expert, but I chose to be a bum instead. Best choice I ever made.

Ofcourse you do. You are still in the phase where you need to impress girls with your 'smartness'.

    That's a cheap excuse.

I'm not saying that the OP should be a math wiz, but he should at least understand math. I believe that every person has the capability to understand anything when they put their mind to it. I have never encountered a subject that I couldn't understand in my entire life. Some subjects are harder than others, and they just require more effort.

I'm sure that the OP is intelligent, which is why he shouldn't give up on math.
