yeah. its almost time for me to get in shape for hockey season. well, i'm already in decent shape from work, but that might slip fast. i just sprained my knee.
actually, i'm down to 178 pounds from 191 since this project started. i'm already getting closer to my running weight.
Hockey is fun as hell. I wish I had played it more when I was a kid. I can play now, but my game leaves a lot to be desired. I'm still in good shape, I exercise, but it isn't near the conditioning I was going through when I was boxing or kickboxing. Now I feel like all the exercise I do is just maintenence. I don't push myself enough anymore. Drink a little much too.
i'm in the process of losing 50-60 pounds to be in the shape i was 2 years ago slowly getting there. i need to push myself more. i took an easy week so i could get used to working again...this week is gonna be fun though made myself a few sandbags
god youre sexy I remember in karate I had to do rows and rows of pushups, situps, running, and jumping jacks. and that was just the wind down/warm up. Fun fun! I have very strong endurance and discipline now.
i alternate phases where i get healthy and really get going and then slowly slack off and devolve into a beer-drinking chain-smoking machine. until i get sick of feeling like shit, and then i go healthy for another 6 months or so.
ummm.. 7 years. I took a break cause I went through a phase where it didnt appeal to me anymore, but I am returning this month. Im very excited.
i was born in basic training well my mum was in bt.. hahh..but i'm not a military bratt and also.....my dad was in the gulf war i didn't know this until they brought me to this wall where they spelled his name wrong...MichEAl Ernest Lessard aha... but yeah.. hmm..
That's awesome. Nothing better then a girl who can beat you up. I've been boxing since I was 13, and taking Muay Thai since I was 17. I've been taking Kyo Karate for the past year. Hope you have fun.
Yay, Chuck. Now you'll be well-equipped to chase down and kill any Iraqis who might have the audacity to try to run away.
Ft. Sill....that blows. My boyfriend was at Ft. Leonardwood. My mom went to Ft. Dix. My dad was also at Ft. Leonardwood. The bf said Basic was hell, but he would do it all over again. He got the top score in his unit on the PT test. He was a Chemical Operations man....what're you going in for? Don't steal the Seargant's hat....if you do, post pictures! Good luck, Jam Master Chuck! (PS....that extra $100 you're making....you could always send that to me, ya know....for all that good forum lovin' I've given. Haha.)
They have tornadoes too... but that is probably all. Thank ya. Oh yesss.... stab a person in the eye with the knife on the end of your gun. Awesome.
Thanks.... before yesterday I hadn't ran a sub-5:30 mile since 7th grade. I haven't even really been running too much this summer, but I was with a super fit football player who went to my school, if it weren't for me wanting to beat him I probably would've done 14:00 or some such shit. Thank you, and I'm sorry. That's what I'm hoping for!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll probably go to whatever overseas deployment I'm offered if I have a choice, just cos I may not get the opportunity to ever do that again... and penpalling would be pretty awesome. I haven't received snail mail from someone since........ hmm quite a while ago I think
Well at the start of this summer I couldn't even do 15 situps in one go... to get in shape for the PT test I just ran and after every half of a mile or so I would do a set a 15 and do 6 or 7 of these sets a day... worked out pretty well if I do say so meself. Situps weren't too bad.. I never really did them this summer though. I might do that pyramid stuff... but I doubt it. After a summer of semi-hard core exercising, my summer break has begun, yay. It'll only be 8 more days but oh well.
You make it sound so fun. A guy I had went to school with was 17 situps away from maxing the test... max 2 mile run for our age was 13:05 or something.
Thank ye, you little goddess you. I had no idea you were ever in karate. That's pretty hot. Isn't it cool? They let pregnant women go through basic training?
