why is it "cool" to be "hippie" though... i see more people trying to be emo, punk, and like 70's metal style
Can people just try and forget about labels and get to know people for what they are? It's not gonna' be easy here though considering I'm in the "Young Hippies" forum.... But when a new 13yrold comes along saying "Hi I'm a real hippy, be my friend" etc, just say "we don't care if your a hippy man, we just want to get to know you for who you are"
im more hip than joo nyah nyah nyah. with every movement the originators usually become bitter elitists as kids flood in to fill their ranks
you know what, i'm so tired of questioning ideologies and people who adopt them...because i'd much rather like to say i follow this particular ideology and adhere to it toatally rather than scrambling bits and pieces from different beliefs and adding them together, saying that these bits and pieces make me up, and while this "me" is just an amalgam of very ecclectic beliefs, there are these people who say that they totally embrace one historically atested ideology... and don't it seems sometimes we are too much of everything and too less of something?
I just wanted to voice my apology to those who we've patronized.. That's all. Gulfwinds and Floydsoul- Good words.
im going to assume you cannot feesably love [liek the opposite of hate] everyone...so i would assume those peopel mean unconditional love, like a dog
and this age=respect thing makes some people afriad to post silly threads because if a 17-year-old posted something that said something like"TAG, YOU HAVE COOTIES!" or whatever then it would be all fine and dandy, but a 13-year-old would be deemed immature if they did something like that.
