I really don't care what age i live tell as long as my parents pass before i do, as it naturally should for any family. Parents are not supposed to see their children die. I am doing everything i can to stay alive so i don't leave a skeleton behind. I know my mother would be a total wreck for the rest of her life if i died before her.

Once my parnets have passed on....man i really dont know.

I'm 16 .. I find it quite easy to answer..

I don't want to be alive at 90 as I don't want deal with the stuff that comes with supreme old age but I don't want to die young either.

    75

Not exactly as old as one could be, not too young to die. :2thumbsup:

Well, I would think that depends. If you have a habit like shooting heroin everyday then you can already expect your life to be shorter. So unless you quit those bad habits then you really don't have much of a say in when you die. Now if you were to quit, then you would be saving yourself and hopefully you live as a long as you should, or would want to.

Age 17 was a year of epiphinies for me. I realized the amount of control I could have over life. I decided that I wanted to take chances and have aventures. I believed I could have a lot of fun taking risks in all aspects of life. I believed firmly that I would likely achieve great age, at least a 100 or more. I had active grandparents in thier 80's and 90's. I also expected that luck would often save my ass and it has.

Now at 66 I got a lot of scars and old injuries that ache but I got pain meds that cover 'em. Theres shit to do and I'm gonna do it. My professional skills are increasing, I can earn enough to play and I'll go till I can't stand it. If my phyical/mental abilities completely shut down and I'm nursing home bait I'll check out of the game on my own. As long as luck holds I'm ready for the show.

No matter what you do once you picked that age nothing could change. the quality of your life would be the factor you know nothing about.

I would choose to be inmortal with the condition of being young, there´s just too much I want to do, learn, see and experience. The only bad thing would be seeing my kids and wife die, which would kill me... But I guess I could get over it with time. The problem nowadays is that you don´t have time for SHIT. You don´t have time to spend with your family, to learn how to play an instrument, to travel... I would fucking LOVE to be inmortal. So many fucking things to do... Pitty.

id choose to be alive for billions (15-20 maybe) of earth years old and use my life savings to get shot into space eventually (or just wait till earth becomes non existent). that way i can watch universes come into existence and fade away, maybe even come to the edge of the universe some day.
    good question :)

    118 minimum.

I may die tonight but I'd like to make it a little bit longer in this body.

If you were inmortal you would see a lot of people die! You wife and kids and I would assume that you would have more wives and kids and all of the friends you would make, they would die also.

It could make you numb to the fact of dieing and not realize how precious life is. So at that point would life really be enjoyable?

I planned on living to be 27. The same age my wife died.

Something happened though. My son was born. On the same day she died no less Jan 2. I took a better look at my values at that point.

    When I was 21 I didn't think I'd make it to 25.

    Now, I think I'll last to 85 or 86. 87 tops.

If I could have decided at 18 how long I would live, I don't know what age I would have picked but probably 70-something and I definitely would have lived my life much more differently.

At least that's something I have changed and can still change - HOW I spent whatever time I have left.
