i'd burn all the money and be as poor as i am now. i know that its gonna go wrong if i'd be rich, whenever i have some money it always ends up doing wrong even if i invested in something good. money hates me.
ummm, I'd then become sexually attracted to women, but then the mother part of my personality would be overcome with a jealous rage and murder them, even going so far as to cutting off one's headd in the shower.
I do still like that movie, if you remove the ending. Maybe that's what I could do with all of my imaginary money. Buy the rights to MP and the HG and just remove the ending. w00t!
I watched it last night [Hitchcock's]. It was awesome, but I missed some watching the Daily Show, but it was still awesome I love Bates' haircut But seriously, if I had tonnes of moneys I'd go to school get settled, probobly be selfish for a bit, then donate the rest to somesuch...
i still like it, too, i was just kidding... hitchcock can be cool sometimes... i think the ending is ok too... i don't remember all the details actually, i haven't watched it for couple of years.
i'd tell ya but i dunno who hasn't seen it i hate ruining movies for people makes me feel terribly bad
Well if you follow Freytag's disection of Dramatic Structure, then the ending makes quite a bit of sense if you consider Norman to be the protagonist in a tragety, where everythign is going good for him until he kills the P.I, then things start to fall apart with Sam and Mary's sister going to investigate, then his "catastrophe" would him being stuck in his mother personae...Same stuff as a Shakepseare play Yeah, I am studying for an English exam, please excuse my over analysis... What I thought was interesting in the end was when the phychiatrist said that a transvestite was a person who dresses as a member of the opposite sex for sexual pleasure--really a testament of the times it was written...
Wait, what? Norman isn't a transvestite, the psychiatrist makes that clear, cause it isn't sexual why he dresses like his mother, he feels guilty, so supresses the memory of killing her by keeping her body, carrying on conversations, and acting like her...
