interesting... i've got two friends who think Obama is the Anti-Christ as well, and him being muslim ties into it. they are totally paranoid, one quit smoking and drinking from one day to the next. and i have been blazing with him for a few years. he thinks all the natural disasters, the black/girl prez thing, HIV/AIDS, etc is all conneted and signs of revelation... crazy kids live in constant fear lol
I dont think he's the anti Christ. Thats the current "president". Anyway have you ever noticed that Obama's only ever shown standing. And his knees never bend. Ready for the tuth? Well his shoes are just stuck onto his knees ,cos he's really 7 ft tall and kneeling when on stage.Oh and his face never wrinkles-like hes gotta mask on. Yep Obama is actually OSAMA. He's so confident he even thought he could take the piss with the name he chose. Youll realise once he stands up and puts the teatowel back on his head. Soon it will be complete- America's greatest humiliation since ... well the last Presidential election when a chimpanzee was elected.
Obama is Osama. And yet Bush (the blue-blood New Englander/Texan poseur) is the one that has ties with Osama and his family. And don't forget Bush senior was in intelligence during the CIA concoction of al-Qaeda in the 80's during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan.
Is that why he bought his ranch specifically for purposes of the press during his campaign? P.S. Let us not forget also that Bush II was annointed as Texas Governor from Yale, by his father who owned the largest oilfields in the region and a baseball team. Lots of votes in Texas. Oh, and isn't it odd that Bush II inherited NO similar accent from both his mom and dad?
Some comments some people you know made do not coincide with someone not being a Muslim? You're my friend Adam, but that sounded really stupid. And yes, the religion of a canidate does matter for me in judging their ability to govern. They are beliefs affecting choices they will make.
I suppose thats true. I thank god I dont have to vote in this election. Because I would feel entirely complacent as I do now.
I don't see how. We have a pro war arch conservative versus an anti war historical canidate liberal. This is the most imperative election in 50 years.
Well I said the 1996/1998/2000/2002/2004 elections were a sham. So I'm well versed in cynicism. I just don't understand it here.
There is a difference between cynicism and skepticism. A slogan-based race doesn't satisfy the skeptic. But cynics are never satisfied, whereas I could be satisfied if a number of realistic conditions are met: as in the candidacy of Kucinich. As it stands, I'll save my enthusiasm for when a candidate with the weight of a Kucinich has winning probabilities.
i don't see anything remotely antiwar about barrack obama. he's already starting to talk tough about iran.
lode is pretty delusional about the guy. And McCain is not nearly as conservative as he says either. As Bush wasn't. The obvious pattern since Reagan has been that mainstream candidates from both status-quo parties exaggerate their differences until they're elected. Fairly predictable.
