don't blame it on the alcohol, yes, it removes inhibitions, but you still have control over yourself, I hate when people blame shit on being drunk. I drink socially and I've never had the urge to fight anyone.

 

I've never understood that either... you're much more worse off with alcohol than pot...

 

seems to me that your problem isn't with alcohol, but irresponsibility and alcohol. While I have seen the bad side, I can also recall parties I've been too where all stereotypes and crap were put aside after a little alcohol, conversations with people promoting the peace that you're talking about brought on my alcohol. I just don't think alcohol automatically means people are going to act like idiots. The problem is people that don't set a limit for themselves and think its cool to get completely trashed and loose control. Drink has never been a problem when done responsibly, that's from my own personal experience.

sounds like the plot of one of those stoner movies, like dazed and confused or half-baked.

 

Fear and Loathing the book was pretty much word for with with the movie... I think they left maybe one line out of the movie spoken by Dr. Gonzo in the hotel... other than that, it was a good recreation of the book.

 

I'm feeling like need to watch this move =D Maybe I will download it today...

also, for the book lovers, i wanted to add that scribd.com is an awesome site if you want to read online.

 

I said the exact same thing on this forum a couple months ago and was told that they were in fact different. I only read the first few pages of the book cuz it was word for word as the movie.

 

Exactly. I hate every government for this, they are all sheep, they ignore scientific proof and statistics.

There have been NO deaths from weed. No health issues (apart from the paranoia thing but thats only with frequent users). No cancer, no respritory issues, no nothing. Alcohol on the other hand, phew-wee. Tonnes of health issues, anger issues, stupidity, etc.

Fooking rediculous.
