yeah, meeting people is always disappointing. plus then you have to talk to them, and it's just not worth it.

no, you're just the one who posted the thread, therefore the easiest target.

I'd go for Charles Darwin, no questions really just listen to him, did seem to be one of history's best lateral thinkers

Issac Newton! How the fuck does one see an apple fall from a tree, mean while noticing the moon in the backdrop and hypothesizes that the moon and the apple are doing the same thing(falling). Also it would be nice to talk to the guy who named the colors of the rainbow - ROYGBIV, plus he speaks english so we could actually communicate.

oh and just a few quotes so stir the Newton pot a little....

"...I wonder, if the stars in the night sky are just like the sun, expect far far away."

"No great discovery was ever made without a bold guess."

"I can calculate the motion of heavenly bodies, but not the madness of people."
    - Issac "The Fucking Man" Newton

Apparently that story about Newton and the apple was made up. At the moment I have no evidence to support this claim, and really don't care to find any, but I've heard on numerous occasions that he, or someone else, made up the story about the falling apple because it sounded more like a strike of genius, as opposed to if he had just been sitting around in his office theorizing.

I've heard the same thing about Franklin and the kite. Didn't really get hit by lightning, but saw a tree get hit.

I'd like to go back to watch the fella invent the wheel and get all crowing about it being the 'Greatest invention ever of all time'...and then invent the axle-just to REALLY piss him off.

dr who and ask if i could bum a ride.
meeting people just isn't all that big of a deal to me.

i think i'd like to have seen the palace of knossos when it was the capitol of atlantis.

there's lots of PLACES i'd like to see at different times, more then caring about meeting anyone in them. i would REALLY like to have ridden the key system across the bay bridge, the sacramento northern all the way from the east bay terminal to chico. the nevada county narraow gauge between colfax and nevada city.

all the trains in and out of a lot of places when there was a lot of them.

but i'd also like to see places that haven't happend yet, and places on other world i didn't make it to in previous lives.

some places i haven't been right now, if i wasn't afraid i'd get stuck in them, and had enough life ahead of me to really see and enjoy them.
