Pff, Eskimo is way cuter than Inuit every day of the week. Feel free to apologize, edit or delete your post. =]
Dat ain't my post! lol White man coined the term, Those native peoples don't like it any more than you'd like being called a kraut.
light weight never stopped anybody. as long as you are either likable enough or despicable enough to improve the ratings, you can be the heavyweight champ. of course, there is the issue of the world wrestling federation not existing under that name for the past 10 years or so.
I never even heard the word inuit before coming to this site. They are called eskimo hear and its meant as an insult as much as calling a native american an indian. Or calling an african american black.
In todays world, you're not a professional if no one's paying you to do it.... The Aleut, the Inuit, before the European invaders...they were professionals of life.
Honestly, I'd like to escape from jobs and money, just live in the wilderness and be completely free.
Generally speaking, the term indian is considered derogatory in Canada, but not all the time. Indian is a legal term referring to indigenous people, so when used in the legal sense, it is acceptable. It's kind of weird, and I find that most Aboriginal people don't really mind the term Indian if it is being used in a non-hateful way.
