If you ever started the process again?

    We don't have that term on this side of the pond. If we do, it's not something I've ever heard, and I'm OLD!

    i regret backcombing, dying and waxing my first set.

    this time around ive gone natural and im 100% satisfied.

    i would have gone 100% natural. mine mostly are but i backcombed a lot in the beginning, which was a huge waste of time and they fell out anyway.
    also i used to have a job in which i'd have to have them in a tight bun, and i think that may have affected their shape. maybe? so i wouldn't do that.
    also, no wax.... i used a little bit in the beginning.... i haven't noticed anything bad, though, nor did i notice anything good coming from it.

    I guess because my fam's from Jamaica I've heard of it. My grandma always calls braids "plaits" and pronounces it like "plat" while I've heard some Americans say it like "plate"
