Because the worlds problems are complicated.

In the DNC there are 20,000 Interahamwe militia who escaped after the Rwandan genocide, and they are terrorising the DNC countryside. The Rwandese milita has begun chased down these despicable criminals, but the DNC army feels it's a hostile act because of situations like Zimbabwe having control of some of the DNC's Diamond rich towns.

Clearly something needs to be done about this, but sending in peacekeeping troops could heighten tensions, but at the same time its very clear that there needs to be a peacekeeping presence there. Since 1998 three million people have been murdered there.

You're a smart guy techie, but there are many racial tensions going on there that we can't even understand. They need a sponsored african coalition, but sponsoring one to intervene in African conflicts comes with lots of other problems because of the Islamic extremists elements in Africa.

These kind of political desicions have very complex dimensions, and being a political advisor is fine, but the world in the 20th century having a dictator is ludicrous.

Ugandas up in there too, I don't even know....

But the point is, the worlds problems are way too complicated for one guy.

Besides you're still young anyway. I mean I am too, and my politics have changed a lot in the past year. What seems like an great idea now my be overpassionate.

Passion without reason is dangerous for politics.

  4. the problem with peacekeeping forces is they're too small because countries are unwilling to leave themselves undefended, if you are dealing with one small agail government in which the left hand knows what the right hand is doing (100% transparency) you just take all the people who you need to, do a quick, agressive destructive action, remove those people who are in danger move them to somewhere else in which they will not have as dramatic racia tensions in government housing (because there will be one world government one will not really have to worry so much about a budget) and besiege the place, allow no food in, put up walls and starve out the militants, once they have surrendered, feed them, move them, and put them somewhere that is essentially a giant penal colony

of course this might not be the eventual outcome, were I to have a button with the capacity to destroy the world and parlay that into power I would get myself some damn good advisors, preferably objective ones....

I don't know about a button, but I know what I'd do with a hammer...

I'd hammer in the morning. I'd hammer in the evening. I'd smack you in the mouth with it... all to the beat of a catchy tune.

If you're talking about a one world government I completly agree. We shoud be united essentially into several states that make up a world government with a constitution which all states must abide by.

We should strive to rid the world of genocide. Then not as much resources would need to be spent in terms of defense and our priorities in human rights should be more clear.

But I still don't think you should call the shots. ;)
