ME, TOO!!!!!!!!!!!! and I want all trolls to go away......already. They suck the air right out of a room.
liking ALL kinds is just as bad. how can you not have a preference? i like stuff from many different genres - indie rock, classic rock, reggae, rap to name a few, but there is stuff in each of those genres that i don't like too. so to get back on topic, i wouldn't date either you or piaf
Ok..........................................................................................................
All metal, Irminsul? Or just the über-metal  Often the best way to lure an elitist into a music discussion :2thumbsup:
A few years ago while downtown I seized an opportunity that truly comes along not even once in the average life time... I was walking through this park across from city hall with my brother. City Hall was having some outdoor event thing on the lawn and they were playing music through these huge outdoor event speakers. At one end of the park there's this very large set of 2-3 story cement stairs. As my brother and I were approaching the stairs... The stars aligned so... Through the speakers behind me I could hear the opening Stevie Nicks-esque guitar intro to Eye of the Tiger. Carpe Diem baby! I took off like a shot running up those stairs. And when I reached the top I threw my fist in the air and danced around. It felt great to have that moment.
I concur. Asmo, this is not a matter of opinion but of a fact. Some of the music produced in the early eighties was more ahead of it's time than most of what is considered likewise today. Grauzone, Current 93, Eyeless In Gaza, Brian Eno, Coil, Moebius & Plank, Software, Harald Grosskopf, Dead Can Dance, This Heat, Legendary Pink Dots, Echo & the Bunnymen, Nurse With Wound, &c.
I think it is a matter of subjective taste and what a person is looking for in music. The 80's stuff Rat and you love and what rings through with what you love about music does not contain the elements (or the forms it is 'poured into') I love or am looking for. Besides that I think we are talking about the same thing, but coming from a different perspective, when I say overly eager experimental synth bogus and you talk about music ahead of it's time
I would, if naturally inclined to be attracted to men of great character, date GLENGLEN. With his fine culinary tastes, cunning masculinity when it comes to killing snakes with shovels, and refined sense of humour, I think he would make a most excellent companion. Not to mention I would always have a drinking buddy.
in all honesty don't think she's around but was once I would date for love and drink cups of ''T'' give her a rose thorn as a gift keep the flower for me awe-inspiring radiant delight awake in life glory of love danger to my ways those were better days
