No, they were in Jacksonville, Florida. Hopefully I'll get down to NC again sometime this Summer. My parents are looking at going somewhere end of June or sometime next month for a week or so... either NC or FL. I've been to Jacksonville, NC, though. Highwayyyy 17 (runs through my twon) goes right to Cape Lookout and 258 where Jacksonville is. I remember a long time ago before they had this expressway thing here we had to take it all the way down there and it would take twice as long.

 

Haha. 17's a fucking mess on weekends. High season, man. The tourists are swamping the Isle with their...pale skin..and their...sun visors...

 

I know, it's the same way here because of all the people traveling to Colonial Williamsburg and the beaches around here from up around DC. They're always expanding and this place is growing way too fast for anyone to even keep up with everything. Every time I leave the house, they're clearing new lots for businesses.
